Food was great but they seem short staffed. The sever never came to check on us after bringing the foods out.
I have been to many Korean restaurants before but this one you can get delicious food and good service for the fair prices.Years ago before covid it was very busy but my recent experience was different.Free underground parking is available.
The food here is amazing. We read in the reviews that service Was subpar but our experience was pleasant and can't complain about the service, it was pretty good. Definitely a must try. Will be going back again and again
In the sea of various KBBQ places in Vancouver, I was thankfully invited to Royal Seoul House for dinner with some friends! This place really commits to the experience with their decor and the dining option of floor and table seating. They also have a perfect sized menu that’s got something for everyone to enjoy from every category. I also really like how their BBQ Combos are set up! They are portioned for 2 people and I’d say are pretty fairly priced. We ordered BBQ Combo C (marinated beef ribs, sliced seasoned beef, beef belly and pork belly) with Lettuce Leafs on the side, LA Galbi (marinated beef ribs), Sweet & Spicy Crispy Fried Chicken, and Prawn Tempura.Personally, I felt like their Banchan (vegetable sides) could have been better in terms of variety and quality, but I’ll enjoyed the Kimchi. All cuts of the meat in the combo were super fresh and filling. However, I will say that all the meats were just lightly seasoned. I would have preferred a much richer marinade and more salt. Although more tasty, same goes for the Galbi. But YO, I was shocked at the portion of Fried Chicken! It’s a HUGE plate. It’s super crispy and yummy too! And of course you really can’t go wrong with Prawn Tempura so that was obviously delicious.Overall, I’d totally recommend this place if you are new to KBBQ. Their excellent service and desire to help you out, alongside their wide but easy-to-navigate menu make for a pleasant dining experience and the perfect place to bring a group of friends or family.
If you don't want to wait for seats, this would be the place to go because they actually have two levels of spacious seatings. Lots of space in here and they do check COVID vaccination cards as well. BBQ meats and common Korean dishes seem to be good here. Avoid the oxtail bone soups as it tasted like plain water.
Enjoyed the large portions of food that came with our meal. We weren't skilled in cooking on the grill so our server was happy to show us. A nice experience and the seasoned meats and side dishes were tasty. Bon Appetite. $$
Very busy Friday night, but servers tried their best.BBQ meat had great flavor and filled us. We ordered the 5-people combo which came down to ~$40 per person. A tad expensive but good for group gatherings.
Love the decor of the restaurant and the moment we walked in, it smelled so good. We only ordered tteobokki as a quick snack before our drive to Whistler. The taste was flavourful but the spice level was too much for us
The place is nicely decorated. Their seafood pancake was good(except that ours was half burnt). Their ventilation system is really bad so the smoke is everywhere. Service was bad. We called the waiters several times and had to wait for a really long time for them so show up. We did not know how to adjust the temperature of the stove and no one offered to help us. Our friend told us this place used to be very nice...
I’ve been eating out too much guys lol. But here’s another review. I was craving comfort food and galbi came to mind. And I wanted a lot of it! I made an order for two servings of galbi and it was enough to satisfy my craving with some leftovers to nibble on later. The taste was great! And I got some pancheon (side dishes) with it which was unexpected but super happy to receive it. This was kimchi, potatoes and bean sprouts. Hit the spot!! Thank you! And I’m giving it 4 stars cuz I just tried one dish so far. I will order again and try their other dishes.
