Service was awesome. Food not so much. Some dishes were great, like the burrata salad, and the gnocchi. The carbonara I had to spit it out because something in it was definitely old and went bad. I sent it back and got a different pasta which was really good. I asked to check with the kitchen what the problem is or which ingredient has gone bad but never got a response on that. Also the mussels did not taste fresh, but was told that they get fresh ones every other day. Other than that, the food is simple and good, but nothing exceptional, however the price is very reasonable so I would recommend trying.

Popped in here early on a friday after reading reviews, definitely recommend a reservation. We lucked out in getting a table. First off this place is run like a well oiled machine, with all women at the helm, very efficient from the service to the meal itself. I was very impressed. Now the food, I read about the date night special so we chose that thinking that for the price and dining in Vancouver the portions may be small but that was far from the case. The photos are the appetizers, the special also included 2 pastas and 2 desserts and a bottle of wine, needless to say we were very full. The food was amazing, I would definitely go back and this time make a reservation.

This establishment is disgusting in every way from staff to management.

Having been to their West End location multiple times, I was really looking forward to dining at the Yaletown location since its more conveniently located. We ordered the Lobster and Crab ravioli, and it was disappointing as it wasn’t seasoned well.Burrata caprese was also not as nice compared to what they serve at their West End location. The staff was very hospitable though.Edit: We dined here on Feb 26, 2022.

This restaurant was recommended to us and now we know why! The service was attentive and friendly, you could tell that the staff really liked working here at their Mainland location! ( one of their three locations ). The food did not disappoint either, coming out of the incredibly small open kitchen nice and hot and very tasty! We shared 4 different courses and just loved all the different tastes and spices! It’s not a very big nor decorated restaurant, but it was full on a Wednesday evening. We’ll be back again soon!

Had a great time at their Venetian Dinner at their Haro St location. Fun event with great food and wines. Spaghetti allo Scoglio is one of their dish of their Venetian Dinner menu.

I wasreally excited about this place but one thing I didn't know is all the pasta is "fatta in casa" meaning that it's chewy and the spaghetti is actually spaghettoni (big fat noodles) which I don't love. But it's good if you like house made pasta. The other deterrent I had was the fact that the kitchen was small, and they do not actually cook to order any of the pasta! It's just a container of precooked pasta they make at their other location, they just add it to the sauce when you order. This is kind of blasphemy, as pasta takes no time at all to boil... in spite of this, the pasta was not overdone, it's al dente (chewy like fresh pasta) but keep in mind they make it at the other location if you want fresh made or order I suggest going there. The dishes are big and it is fairly authentic Italian flavours, the service is quite slow though, and the restaurant is very small you need to reserve a table. Oh, I also ordered a Prosecco which was an awesome portion (they filled my glass) but the waitress emptied a bottle and opened a new one, but a DIFFERENT KIND OF PROSECCO. I was pretty unimpressed by that, mixing wines? Would they have done that with a white or red? That's not cool :-/Would I give this place another chance? Maybe. But the other location probably, so I could get fresh pasta. Too bad, they have a great menu.

Little botique Italian Bistro in the heart of yaletown. Flavors are plentiful and bold, and come in good portions. Seating is limited as it's a fairly tiny bistro, so come prepared or call ahead!

This was by far the best Italian meal I’ve eaten since I visited Italy in 2019! Amazing service from the exceptional Antonio and all the other staff. My friends and I couldn’t have discovered a better restaurant for our stay in Vancouver. The wine, the Pappardelle ‘Roshe Roshe’ was incredible and the appetizers and desserts were to die for. Will be back!!

My friend and I ate here for the first time. It was busy for a Monday night. The salads we ordered were both very good. The pasta at best, was just so so. I had the pesto pasta with Burrata and my friend had the vegetable pasta. My pasta was not fully cooked though not crunchy. It was swimming with pesto sauce which made the dish look rather unappealing. The pesto sauce was fine in flavour but there was just way too much of it for the amount of pasta served. My friend said her dish was simply OK. Our server who was run off her feet was pleasant especially given how busy they were. I would come back to this restaurant for the salad but that would defeat the purpose given you are hoping for good Italian food.
