I called the Richmond location to order and reserve one whole bbq goose today in the morning for pick up at 6:00pm as I know they close early and the bbq goose might get sold out by then.The staff who picked up the call confirmed my name and phone number for pick up. I was so excited to go there to pick up the bbq goose, but when I got there, the staff told me they have never taken my call and didn’t put down my order. The staff said they only have half of the bbq goose left and asked if I want it or not. What a joke! If you don’t even know how to do business, please just close it down. I will never go there again and will tell all my family and friends not to go. Ridiculous.
First visit today. Bought a full roast goose.Contrary to most places I've been to in GV, this is not too salty and not too sweet!! Wow!!Thank you!!Note that the goose is quite chewy and pretty lean.Next time I'll try the duck...Reply to owner's reply: I always complain that in Vancouver (or Richmond), things are way too sweet. I'm very grateful that you're not following that insane trend. Thank you again! Looking forward to next time (which might not be very soon because it's a bit far from where I live).
I would give this place a 3.5 stars if Google allowed half stars. Had to line up for around 10 minutes before I was able to order. They have all sorts of different parts of the goose, duck, pork to order. We got half a goose and 1 shredded chicken as it was on special. I thought the price was pretty good for the amount that you get. The half a goose was enough for 6 people to eat with leftovers. The flavours are pretty good but we waited a little too long (30 minutes) to eat it as the skin was no longer crispy. The shredded chicken wasn't too salty and the portion was not bad for the price.Tip: if you are looking for goose intestines - they sell them. Great for hotpot

The bbq pork is really good, they offered me the leaner pieces which I like!
the soy braised chicken and the roast goose are fantastic. we tried it once and have kept going back. prices are very reasonable. the goose reminds us of duck, but it's a lot better than duck. so happy to have this nearby.
Very good ? BBQ ? Duck, if you don't mind having a few good pieces taken out for the owner's noodle soup sold separately. Surrounding shops have the tax included in their cooked food, whereas RGK will add the 8% tax to your final cost. This Will definitely be the last time I buy from here. ??
Order a lunch box this afternoon. This is what it looks like. The goose is all bone. Very disappointing.
