Had a great dining experience while watching NBA finals Friday night. Rebecca was our server and was AWESOME. Obviously she was busy but never kept us waiting, extremely accommodating, gave great recommendations on food (we really liked the pizza and hot wings, but burger looked great too). Fun night! We had a reservation (booked online) which was definitely helpful for a busy sports night. Thanks, Rebecca!!
Had to wait 10 minutes at the entrance until someone asked about seating us, the host and waitress ignored us for another 5 minutes while they pretended to look for a table, they didn’t have the courtesy to tell us that they did not in fact had any tables available even though we had a confirmed reservation. We went to another sports bar a block away and had the best time with friendly staff and great service unlike this place.
I had a very unpleasant time there because of my server, Rebeca. From order point to payment time, she didn't act respectfully with me and also, whenever she passed from behind of me, she pushed my chair. Others could pass easily but she had problem every time.About the restaurant and it's food I can say it was ok.
The staff were super nice, very attentive and my food was good. I also want to note my server went the extra mile, even off her shift, and she was mostly working with the tv's. So because of that level of accommodation, I believe the below to be mostly lack of training in the specifics of a sports bar.It was the leafs and oilers playoffs to tie for a game 7. This should be irrelevant but be warned as it is the playoffs.Out of the 5 staff members, none of them knew how to work the tv's. None of them new what channels the sports were on. None of them seem to know the purpose of multiple TVs in a sports bar, is you can strategize the layout of different games. I watched the oilers game on two tv's side by side. One had the NBA finals on it prior, which means when they switched it, they could have switched that tv to the leafs game and still have kept the oilers game on the other that was beside it. Also, Those two oilers games were also on different channels. One was on CBC and the other one beside it on SN- which was lower quality and had a 3 second lag. People were frustrated and I think some left.Whether they noticed or not I'm not sure, I'm hoping they didn't notice, and not that they didn't care. Maybe they didn't think it was a big deal.As there were 5 staff members, I believe this to be a training issue. I wouldn't be so picky but this is a sports bar....
First time in Vancouver and stayed at Moda hotel Went around 7 pm for one and the brunette waitress said they are not accepting customers! Lol never seen a bar not accepting customers especially I’m staying at the hotel affiliate with them. One guy was leaving the bar and she told me he’s smoking ! Never know you can smoke inside . Went back at 9 ( bit more empty) saw the same waitress she saw me and shooked her head meaning they are still not accepting customers ! Never coming back again . Was going to spend good money at that bar since had a great time watching the leafs game few days ago . If I was the owner I’ll be really upset with the policy !
Was having a decent time. When the bill came in got charged for a double. Happy hour menu didn't even show an option for a double, I never asked for one, don't know if the drink was a single or a double. Didn't feel like disputing it. Paid it out but will avoid coming back.
Have lived in Vancouver for 5 years and passed by this place countless times, decided to go in today because I wanted a place to sit at a bar with sport on the tv, + a beer and sandwich without a hefty price tag. Everyday until 3pm you can get a 20oz beer, a large side of fries, and a large bacon cheddar burger for only $15. That is unheard of in Vancouver, when I ordered I thought the portion would be measly and a half glass of beer, but a full pint and a large portion. Service and atmosphere were great too, will definitely be back.
Awesome bar to grab a bite and a few pints before or during a game. Amazing burgers and lots of screens, staff is cool too.
The staff are great here and they are super friendly the resteraunt itself is absolutely beautiful ❤️❤️❤️? I will deffentitly attend again they were amaizing with serving me and my service dog they were great
I went with friends to watch a football game the other night. Only two or three of their beers come in pint sized glasses. They charge pint sized prices for tiny beers. I sat on a red leather chair and the dye from the armrests ruined my sweater. I called them the next day to let them know and they didn’t seem to care. We left in the first half of the football game to enjoy the game somewhere else. Will not return.
