To my surprise this Ramen restaurant using “Overlord Clause” minimum consuming order amount! This is absolutely not acceptable at all! When I ordered two basic Ramen the waitress told me there was a minimum order amount in their restaurant and forced me to order more, but there was neither anything written in the menu nor anything showed in their website. This is a typical commercial fraud! I have to warn all the consumers to be aware of this issue. The ramen was tasty, but I have to say their business philosophy is very bad!

great ramen - huge fan of thin, firm noodles

You want Ramen in Vancouver? There are many options. This is no-nonsense delicious Ramen. Yes, Ramen, like Art, is subjective, but I can't imagine a scenario where a bowl of this could be sent back. Danbo is more consistent than the rain in this fair city for its ability to deliver an all around great bowl of Ramen. If you don't want to quibble about semantics and just have a delicious bowl, accept no substitute. I eat at a variety of Ramen joints, this one just hits every time. No Question.

Delicioso Miso Ramen

Ramen was my favorite Japanese dish. I had tried numerous ramenyas while I was living in Japan.Danbo’s ramen is pretty decent. It is not fancy, but the noodle, soup and chashu mixed well. With $1, you can get a half batch of noodle, and $2 for a whole batch. I recommend you save the soup for a whole batch.

Edit: Been here too many times lately, tried all Ramen. I still like Classic the Best!Small little ramen restaurant on Robson with Big massive flavors!!I tried the Classic Ramen with Lunch Set CFood came out fast and service was wonderfulHonestly the Gyoza was nothing special.. BUT.. The Ramen/Broth was absolutely incredible!!!! Mini Chashu Donburi was a delicious add-on!Now, stop reading about it and go try the food yourself

Locals favourite ramenEdit: it is always nice to come back here since it has been a while and i dont live closeby. Make sure come to get the wailist system by yelp so you can get your seats at the perfect dinner time!Cheers i hope this feedback helps!

Ramen DANBO is a good ramen shop... maybe among the best. It's not perfect, but it earns 5 stars anyway, because on most points, they are perfect. We had the Chashu-men with thin noodles (if I was going back, I'd try the thick noodles, but you have to start with the original). We also had the gyoza, which were good. The service was wonderful, fast, courteous, thoughtful, and accurate. We received our order incredibly quickly. The ramen was very good, with a nice smoky flavor. It didn't blow my mind, but it was certainly authentic. I just wish the portions were larger. It can be a long wait to get in, so plan to wait outside, which isn't ideal. The shop is small and the tables are tightly packed. So go here if you have time to wait. It was certainly worth it for us.

Small place, about 4-5 tables, decided to sit at the stools/counter near the kitchen, I like watching the ramen cooks in actionOrdered one A lunch set, 3 gyoza, 2 free extra toppings. B lunch set gives you 1 free drink instead of 2 toppings. So many choices on the ramen, thin or thick noodles, spice level, soup density, decided to go "standard" on all choices.Ramen broth had great unami flavor, even though I ordered mild spiciness, I felt it took away from the original broth flavoring, next time no spice needed.A little annoyed by the overtly aggressive staff in our area, keep asking if we were done even though ramen was still in our bowls. As soon as we finished one dish, her arms/hands immediately appeared between us to take away the empty dish, quite annoying.

Great ramen spot in downtown Vancouver. We made it before the lineup got too bad. Service is extremely fast. Ramen is fresh. Broth is flavourful and the noodles are perfectly cooked. Lots of ways to customize your ramen as well eg. Firmness of noodles, toppings, etc. Will definitely come back here next time I'm in Vancouver
