One of the must try when you visit Vancouver! The sashimi taste really fresh & have the best presentation I have ever seen ? the staff were very professional and attentive which I greatly appreciated! It’s worth to mention that their drinks menu is really interesting. We ordered their sake which paired really well with our food! The restaurant’s atmosphere was relaxing & cozy! ?? we’ll definitely come back to this restaurant! どうもありがとうございます

cool spot, almost hidden as the entrance is fairly discreet. relaxed and inviting atmosphere insideeverything was tasty, we really enjoyed our drinks (plum wine sangria is a must!) and the seafood tartare. would love to come back and get more of their menu!

Really popular place with a varied menu. The fatty tuna is so good and the lunch special where you pick 2 out of 4 options (sashimi, meat, fried food or fish) is really good for people who can't decide what they want to eat (like us!) My only complaint is that the sushi rice in our deluxe seafood bowl was quite clumpy compared to what I'd expect. Otherwise, a good time! Make reservations, they get very busy very fast!

Raisu has friendly good service and absolutely fresh delectable food. My little one loved the kids meal as it comes with a variety of food. Although the food is on the pricier side but it is well worth it as the quality and taste is top notch. I feel the best value is with their lunch combo or shokado bento where you can sample different taste and foods. If you want to splurge a little go for the uni course or their otoro blue fin tuna deluxe seafood bowl both are absolutely amazing.

delicious Japanese food at a reasonable price. Some dishes were slightly over salted but otherwise great. Ingredients are fresh too!Definitely try the raisu signature that allows one to try many of their signature dishes.

Good food. great Japanese food in town.

I’ve ordered lots of times on Uber due to the Covid-19 , the food was always delicious and well-packed. Was really looking forward to try in the restaurant ,after 1 year finally got chance to go ,the food was delicious as I expected.Kobe wagyu & Uni Aburi Nigiri was the best nigiri I’ve ever had! Otoro blue fin deluxe seafood bowl was great. the otoro and all the seafood were fresh, although it costs $63 but was definitely worth it ! The portion of Corn and brussel sprouts karaage was large and taste good too. Agedashi tofu with mushroom sauce was very special, served in a sizzling hot stone bowl . Tonkatsu teishoku and snow crab on the egg were just average.the food was undeniably delicious and the presentation was great for sure, but we were very disappointed with their service. We booked the table at 3:45pm, was only 2 tables including my table! Which was not busy at all, but our waitress were not attentive at all . She was wearing a poker face all the time :/ just dropped off the food on the table wherever without any explanation .I’d rather order it on Uber in the future….

This is a great place to make memories.Food is always great and the value for the quality and preparation of the food is bar none.I make it a mission to eat here on special days(birthdays, anniversaries, etc)The staff was friendly and attentive. If you get a chance to visit the set menu provides a great experience with very little thought. Never once did I go wrong getting the chef's choice! Also if your a big drinker the ponzu cocktails give a nice twist to your average mojito.5 stars would give a bonus 6 if I could ?

Thoroughly enjoyed eating here and would definitely come back for more food! One of the best experiences I’ve had in awhile. Spacious seats and cozy atmosphere.Would definitely recommend anyone who hasn’t tried this spot to try it one time.

I've been in Vancouver my whole life and I was extremely sad I only came to this restaurant for the first time recently. I wish I came sooner! The food was amazing and top notch quality. The atmosphere was a lot different than I imagined, in a good way. It's a very casual place, which I love. The food is very elevated and tasted amazing. They have some unique dishes you wouldn't find in typical Japanese restaurants. Would come here again in a heartbeat
