This coffee shop is extraordinary. In every sense, this coffee shop is the perfect definition of what a high quality and truly amazing cafe should be. I go to platform 7 daily and sometimes even twice a day. I live a 5 minute walk away and my school is just around to corner from it. I find myself in Platform 7 for hours on end, wasting time and chatting with friends. It is a beautiful atmosphere and vibe and I could live there. The coffee and food is fresh and so incredible, you can tell the beans are very high quality. I think I can safely say that it is my happy place. The baristas are nice and are very good at their job, I order the same coffee every time I go and it never disappoints even after me getting it at least once a day for months. I even find myself wishing I was home so I could go there when I’m on trips or out of town. I love and appreciate this cafe so much and I’m so happy I live near here. Would highly recommend.

Very delicious sandwich and interesting decor. We had the deluxe ham sandwich and goat cheese and beets sandwich, would definitely recommend trying.

Great coffee. Freshly roasted beans. The dates are mentioned on the bags they sell. They do get fresh batches of beans every Thursday. The baristas are super quick but efficient. Was crowded on a Sunday but found space to sit in the Patio . I had ordered a cortado and it was right on point. Really helpful and cheerful staff , helped me to choose the right coffee beans.
Platform 7 is one of the most unique and interesting gathering places for coffee and a snack in Kitsilano. After condo developments and COVID took out most of the old, funky coffee shops, there wasn't much with character left. However, the vintage vibe and excellent fare at Platform 7 are a welcome shift back to old Kitsilano style.We often stop here on our way to the beach, after walks, and to meet up with friends. I really enjoy the outdoor seating.
Great cappuccino and the regular coffee is excellent too. I haven't had the sandwiches yet but I plan to; the pear and brie looked amazing. I really just want to rave about the enormous, almond filled croissant ?The best croissant I've ever had. It was huge, filled with a generous amount of that delicious almond paste and yet squishy. It's was incredible!
I love going for coffee here. It reminds me of a Paris train station. It has a number of tables for sitting either inside or out to enjoy your coffee. There are an assortment of sandwiches vegetarian and meat. There is lots of muffins to choose from as well. This is great place to sip some coffee and for a few moments feel like you are in Europe.
