Cool place! I'm a total rookie on this cuisine but I really enjoyed the Chicken with Pho noodle soup.Professional and friendly staff ?Sorry I didn't take picture before I devoured half of it ? hopefully still does it justice!
I was pleasantly satisfied with the crunchy salad roll and the minced pork salad roll. Bethany, the owner was delightful and engaging. The place is relatively small with a few tables. The walls are adorned with pictures of Vietnam. The hand embroidered prints would of been a labour of love to make. Bethany explained the best measure of a good Vietnamese restaurant is their Pho. My next visit will be Pho.
My favorite Pho restaurant has moved to a bigger and better location at 430 West Pender Street! It’s just up the street from the old location.
One of my favourite food places in downtown! Delicious and affordable. The lady who seems to be the owner is very kind and genuine, though I haven't seen her in a while. Small place (only 3 indoor seats and some outdoor seating) but great food and very friendly people. Both pho and subs were pretty good. Vegetarian options available, can ask them "no mayo" to make it vegan. My favourite is the tofu sub. Take out available. They are moving to 430 West Pender St at the end of Mar 2022.
One of the best pho places in town. It's simple but the broth is what makes it great. The owner is really nice and remembers your name and exact order every time.
I had the chicken sandwich and it good so good words can't describe. Better than 90% of the pho restaurants out there. I can't wait to go back
Mislabeled as vegan.Honestly the food was delicious, however, their Vegan subs have standard egg mayonnaise. Some subs (banh mi) are specifically labeled vegan with one even calling itself the Vegan Mega Sub but it still has egg in it. They served me food twice that wasn't vegan even when I specifically ordered their "vegan" menu items. Thankfully I'm not allergic to eggs, but I know a few people who are. Everyone should respect everyone's food choices, but even if you don't, it's a genuine safety issue when they lie about what goes in their food.
Sub-par. Ok flavour but definitely not top tier. Cheap prices would have covered it but even then it ain’t that cheap. Have no idea how a $9 bowl and $6 salad rolls would come to $18? Bad business ethics. Wouldn’t go again.
Said I'd write a review if I loved it, and I DAMNIT I LOVED IT. The ladies working the joint were kind, only $8 for a big bowl of spicy vegan pho, and pretty central to everything! I'll be back.
The best chicken noodle soup in the area! The staff is super friendly and caring! The shrimp salad rolls are to die for, and it goes perfectly with their Vietnamese coffee. Will definitely recommend this restaurant to all of my friends and colleagues ??
