This is a popular Vietnamese restaurant in the neighborhood for ages. Since the change of management that happened about 2 years ago, the restaurant has been making positive improvements continuously. The interior looks much cleaner and cozier. The food quality is excellent yet the prices remain moderate. The service is friendly and pleasant. A great place for both single diner and family or group dining. Pay parking in the front Street and free 2 hour parking available on the streets a block behind.

Pho Hong is totally out of my way as I'm driving through the city, but it's worth the detour. I stop by when I can and am always caught between trying something new or having something I've ordered before. Their pho broth is flavourful and everything I've had from here has been excellent.Don't miss the iced coffee with condensed milk -- they use good quality coffee and it shows. This meat-eater also recommends the veggie salad rolls. The fried tofu inside along with the fresh basil and soy-based dipping sauce...drool-worthy. You won't understand how good it is until you try it.Service is always friendly and the food is consistently good!

It was great food for an affordable price. I got the lemon grass chicken skewers with an added fried egg. The meat was flavourful and their lychee juice drink was great ( a little small in the portion )

Was looking for a new place in East Vancouver for pho and found this place and it was incredible! Not only do they have good pho but also very good vermicelli. Considering its location, this restaurant has excellent interior decoration. I had ordered takeout but for next time for sure will dine in.

Van, the owner, is a very pleasant person. Clearly shows in what she does. She is passionate about the restaurant and has very good staff. Food is great, and affordable. Ice coffee is always a crowd pleaser!

The best place for comforting Vietnamese foods. I usually go the for Pho sate and their veggie salad rolls, the soup is tasty, hot and a lot of meat which is amazing. Their portion is quite big comparing to other places. Their staffs are approachable, very helpful and welcoming, and quick with there service. I would highly recommend friends to go here

All the food was mediocre. The satay noodles could have a deeper flavour; it was too salty as well The pho broth could also use a deeper flavour. Music should be changed. When we were there at the time, there was some loud pop music playing which gave the place a cold feeling. I understand that it's not my taste in music but I believe a change in music could give the place a better ambiance that is fitting with the decor of the restaurant.

Good and very affordable food.Love their noodle soup, specially during cold weather.

We enjoyed our dishes and would recommend for the quality, generous portions and reasonable prices. Bon appétit.

Excellent food! We had a rare beef/brisket pho and shrimp/pork skewers on vermicelli. Broth was tasty, spring rolls were light and crispy. Would definitely come again. Note: cash or debit only.
