The best smoked meat I have had outside of Montreal. Great service and excellent value.
What kind of restaurant closes for the day at 2:30 p.m. every day? !(3;30 the internet said). But looking at photos now I'm glad I missed them - how basic and boring their sandwich kooks - a ridiculous mountain of meat between two plain , thin sheets of bread - warranted it's a ridiculously GOOD amount, but so much more could have been done with that element.
Just had my first sandwich from PHAT - after walking by the place for years - wow, so good. Fresh, good portion, love the little kosher Dills. New go-to for sandwiches downtown
Used to frequent this place when I worked downtown...... amazing food and service. Had a very sudden craving today, going to have to make my way back downtown for lunch one day soon!!

I get a cream chees bagel one day- it's like biting into shoe leather. The other day I ordered their perogies- worst perogies I ever ate- tiny microscopic perogies which were virtually tasteless and the prices- for this(?!) I'm paying $13? I'm certain they have a bunch of loyal customers to survive with but I'm not one of them
By far my fave deli in Vancouver. They make an incredible sandwich and their breakfasts are to die for. Portions are generous, salads are huge and food is fresh and delicious. Their staff crack me up and I love coming in the early morning to chat with them and love that they remember who I am. Great hidden gem.
Avoid! $13 for a freaking smallish sandwich and a pop? No wonder this place was empty! Where’s the meat?
