Middle Eastern Lebanese Falafel

I have been a customer of Paramount since its first location opened in Mississauga. I was excited to try the spot in Vancouver since I am visiting and preferred it over many other options through Google search.Honestly, I was disappointed of the atmosphere. It was dark. No music. The furniture is old.We ordered few items and they forgot the main dish so it was canceled after 15 minutes. One issue, lack of staff. The existing staff worked extremely hard to keep up with the demand of Dine-in, online pickup, deliveries but they were behind which caused issues with customers who left angry or didn't even stay or canceled orders. We ordered plat of Falafel. We received 4 pieces of thin pickles. We asked for more. We received 4 more thin pieces ??At least we received freshly baked pita. It was lovely ?I really wish the owner to pay attention to staffing, atmosphere and removing stuff in the way to bathroom. It feels as if you walking to a storage room.Good luck and will still love Paramount ?

We got a quiet night while on vacation. Walked here and it was busy but we got seated. The food was amazing and the portions were huge. We enjoyed so much we got takeout on our last night in Vancouver!

We always wanted to come here since they open :) but always people are line up so we couldn’t try them and finally! We saw no line so made this happen! ? you know I normally ask to staff what is good food here as my first visit and so far they are always right! And again hit it? I don’t like Lamb cause of smell but the manager strongly recommend so just trust him and now I can eat lamb?? that yogurt drink was so good but not for my hubby cause that is too sour for him ? The Lamb….. was just melting in my mouth… Best Lamb ever I had! This place make me to drive to get here from Surrey ?

My friend and I came here for a short vacation and we have been trying some Lebanese/Middle Eastern HALAL food. This restaurant by far is the BEST!!!The quality of food is excellent. We ordered taboule, mixed mezza, yalla special (Chicken shawarma with french fries and toppings- a super yummy taste that Ive never had before), and a mixed bbq plate. Their freshly baked bread is one of the best Ive had in Canada since I ever moved in here. It has the real authentic taste of home!! Portions are big, they’re very generous with the sides (hummus, garlic sauce, rice, french fries, pickles, grilled onions and tomatoes, etc) presentation is very eye-satisfying.We then ordered 2 kunafa type they serve. They were super delicious. The taste reminded me of the kunafa I used to have in some authentic places in Lebanon!!Staff are very welcoming and friendly. We are definitely repeating this before we leave!

Came to see some family all the way from Toronto and wanted to have a get together so picked this place and have had no complains. The food was explicit and had an authentic Lebanese taste which everyone liked. Would definitely visit again on my next trip. Kudos to Mohammed for making a space for a huge group and being generous.

Love this restaurant and love Mohammed, our server, he is awesome...when I'm downtown, it's one of my fav places to eat. Food is delish and quality is consistent. Recommend 100%...sorry didn't take pic of the hummus and bread...we devoured it so quickly.

Of places in downtown Vancouver, Paramount consistently deliver on the middle eastern food experience! Their focus on flavors, variety and quality comes through extremely well. Freshly prepared and serviced just in time. We keep returning without question!! Oh and their Baklavas are tremendous!!

The lentil soup and the 3 dip sauces with the homemade bread is why I would come here and eat..plus I've been to 3 other locations back in Toronto and I would crave the lentil soup. But if you are from Toronto you will think this location is just as similar as the one back there. But things that need to improve:1. Seating is all cracked and very uncomfortable to sit on.2. There is not enough staff to service everyone and the other staff is working so hard and so quickly but its still not good when you are waiting for 20 mins for your bill since the waitress has a million things to remember.I feel sincerely bad for this staff who has to run back and forth and have so many people either waiting outside or waiting for the food or waiting for the bill.3. Tables and chairs are not really fully disinfected or clean either..and I dont notice the staff doesnt have enough time to really clean the tables with vinegar or wipes and just use a clothe with thier hands bit its not clean and bacteria is all around these tables from other people eating before you including oil spots on the seats.4. The drinking water is horrible not filtered and it's like sewer water. I would never even dare try to drink it.5. The meat platters are very dry and the quality of the meat is pretty bad including the pickles and radish.6. Strawberry drink is way too sweet its like drinking a cup of jam with some water added...I would recommend getting a bottled water and dividing the drink into 2 portions.

We had a really great experience there. We had kofta wrap, chicken shawarma plate, za’atar, cheese, and kunafeh. To be honest I just wanted to try the kunafeh. But the food was great, the portion of the plates was decent. Za’atar and cheese were lovely. And kunafeh wow, I really enjoyed it. We were served by Rosa, who was super friendly. Definitely coming back?

Recently me and my husband had come in to dine from quebec a few days ago, and I had decided to get the hummus which was a delight including the fresh bread which was crispy. The chicken beef dish was also a nice dish and complimented the hummus. We had met a server named Rosa who had recommended us to try saj dish which was such a nice meal, she had made us feel at home and was very fast and efficient with our food. Amazing food and amazing service!❤️
