Beautiful little tea shop and an interesting concept where they pull “shots” of tea like espresso over oat milk. We ordered the hot hojicha oat and iced matcha oat. I really enjoyed the hojicha but the matcha oat was underwhelming and not noteworthy. Baristas were super friendly and I’d definitely come back to try the other teas and the bubble waffles.
Hands down - Best bubble waffles in town!Their drinks have a ton of tea favour and bonus points for accepting personal cups to reduce waste.Glad to see they're open again, can't wait to come back!
When they warn you that the chai tea can be quite spicy, they are not joking around. The mild chai is already quite peppery so maybe the regular strength version would be good for clearing your sinuses. Great flavour though, just be warned this is not the dessert version you might receive elsewhere.Also ordered a mango hojicha oat, iced with pearls. Very refreshing with a light mango flavour; the pearls were light and not overly dense as well. Highly recommended on a hot day.
You have to come to Paragon if you are looking for quality teas, in particular matcha! They have a wide variety and also offer a small selection of baked goods. Their new location is beautiful but small and cozy. They do have a secret menu, so don't be afraid to ask!
One of my favourite places in Vancouver. Excellent selection of loose leaf and powdered products. Michelle and team are REALLY passionate about tea. They are always available to educate customers about their quality products or provide suggestions on how to use them for the best experience. Looking forward to seeing their new space when it reopens!
If you are sick of coffee houses trying to make your tea correctly, please try out paragon. Their drinks are done too perfection with the patience and attention required for tea. They have non dairy options and lovely gifts. They even have guest bakeries or gifts in store from time to time. Every time I go, one at the tea experts always says something lovely and it brightens a grey day.
Live their waffles, it has a nice texture to it.
