Amazing vegan burger in pita with salad.

Was in the mood for falafel and found this restaurant while walking on Denman. Ofra is from Israel and you can tell by her outstanding falafel. She was taking care of everything and so she was quite busy but still took the time to make you feel welcome. Good value for the price.

Enjoyed the shawarma and hummus. Ofra is a great host and the restaurant was alsways busy though we found a table without a problem

While visiting Vancouver I was looking for great middle eastern cuisine. Ofra's didn't disappoint, after reading many raving reviews! Wow what a great gem! We had the falafel plate, a falafel wrap, the vegan sausage was delicious. We will most definitely be back and Ofra is exceptional and wonderful. A must try for vegans and non vegans.

This woman is a one-person band; she takes the order, preps, serves and takes payment, all in her stride whilst serving multiple customers. We had the houmous with falafel and the vegan sausage shukshuta. A little taste of Israel, vegan style.

Don't go there the woman who attended was super rude with our table and the one next to us when taking the order so we decided to take the food to go, while we were standing up she said she said "why you don't sit? your food is ready, I've been very nice with you, very nice". Don't go there if you don't want to have a bad time. Super unflavored food and lack of hygiene, not using mask and slaves on clothes

As neither vegetarian nor vegan, I'm always a bit hesitant about eating at places like this because, well, I'm a carnivore. But fellow meat eaters, I'm here to tell you if you're going to skip animal protein for a meal & still want to walk away just as satisfied, then Ofra's Kitchen is worth a visit. Her food is excellent, and brings a real touch of Israeli authenticity to the West End of Vancouver. Here's what my wife & I ordered for lunch today & our ratings: Greek Shakshuka (SCORE: 10) - Best shakshuka we've ever had. Not sure if she's seasoning hers uniquely or just going the extra mile in reducing the tomato sauce, but it works, and has fantastic flavor. Baba Ghanoush (SCORE: 8) - I personally prefer my baba ganoush to be creamier, but Ofra's version was flavorful and a great side with everything else. Schnitzel Pita (SCORE: 8.5) - I never had a vegan schnitzel before, but I definitely will again. Tasty as a pita sandwich, but would've been even better with more fried/sautéed eggplant inside. Falafel Platter (SCORE: 9) - These are advertised as the best falafel in Vancouver, and it may be true. The crunchiness alone was extraordinary compared to other falafels I've had, and was very good with the hummus it accompanied. A word about the pita bread that comes with the hummus - WOW! Absolutely, hands down the best pita my wife and I have EVER had, and we've both had a LOT of pita. Ofra's is slightly crispy on the outside, pillowy soft & warm on the inside, and tastes delicious. Each bite is like eating a tasty little bread cloud. Next time we're in Vancouver, we'll definitely be visiting Ofra's Kitchen again to try a bunch of other things we didn't get to on this trip.

Expansive menu choices and wonderful flavours and quality. An oasis in the West End! Not to be missed!

I went to Ofra's today for the first time and had the falafel pita and the veggie burger. Both were amazing, really good hearty food that left me feeling full and satisfied. If I had to pick between the two I'd say the falafel was slightly better. I also grabbed some desserts to go. The lemon cookie was very tasty as was the vegan baklava. The owner, Ofra, was working and was very friendly and pleasant! I will definitely be back.

Ofra' s food is out of this world ! Amazing homemade flavor, perfect texture. Never disapppoints! Start with the best falafel in town and move from there. Exquisite Vegan food. Plus, jazz music...???,
