Extremely overpriced but the food is pretty good, although very heavy and portion sizes are gigantic. There is tons of seating outside and inside, service was attentive and friendly. I quite enjoyed the decor as well. The only thing that I found unbelievable is that they overcharged for a plain waffle and you have to pay extra for whipped cream, as well as fruits. So the waffle ends up being over $20, but what kind of insane person would order a waffle without cream and fruits?

5 out of 6 of us loved our meals and the last one was my teen, picky about bacon (whom they tried to appease). Although it was definitely loud, I realize many appreciate that kind of atmosphere so can’t take off stars for it. The kids will forever talk about their amazing smoothies and I will always remember the amazing lemon curd on my French toast.

Usual brunch fare. The omelette was ok but underwhelming. Could’ve made it myself at a fraction of its cost.

We did not enjoy our visit at all. Multiple open tables inside and on the patio but we were told it was an hour and a half wait. Those tables say empty the entire time. Service was slow, pretentious and rude. Food was very average for the price you pay. If you want overpriced breakfast food served by people who think there too good to serve you give it a go, but there are multiple places around Vancouver with better food who actually want your business, we will not be going back.

Wow if you have not been, you need to put this place on your list to go! Absolutely amazing! There is usually always a line but their line system is one of the best if I have even seen. You can see on your phone where you are in the line, they will also contact you when your table is ready. The staff where so friendly and the food was soooooo good. Highly, highly recommend going here even if you have to wait it will not disappoint!

Very good coffee, great breakfast und attentive waitresses!??

I've had almost everything on the menu here. One of the best brunch restaurants around. My favourite is the pierogies and duck but honestly everything here is delicious. I prefer savoury over sweet dishes but I've had both here and both are done exceptionally well. The lineups are long, I highly recommend making reservations if you can. But it is worth the wait.I've eaten at a few of the other locations (here and Alberta) they're all good, but Yaletown is the one I'll always keep coming to. The staff here are attentive and the GM Darren is the best; I always see him working hard, interacting with staff and asking how everything was with every customer. Darren deserves a fat raise!

Outstanding breakfast , very enjoyable experience fun atmosphere looking forward to returning again soon young fun staff xx

Having been a total lover of OEB Breakfast (both dining in and takeaway) I was eager to get a poutine on my arrival back to Vancouver last weekend. Due to the popularity and 2.5hr waiting list we decided to order in and enjoy breakfast from the comfort of our own home - We are a mere 500m from the restaurant. Calling in advance to place the order we were told 15min to collection and off I trotted to retreive our meal - providing a comfortable 20min in case there were any kitchen delays given the busy morning. On arrival I was asked to wait outside as our order was not yet ready, after 15min I enquired again and it was still not ready. Over 45min after the order was placed I asked once again if the staff were sure the order wasn't ready as I was noticing mulitple other customers coming to fetch their food. A waitress went into the kitchen and finally returned with our meals, almost an hour after ordering them. It was my mistake not to check at the restaurant whilst I was still there, but eager to get home I dashed back to the apartment and found that the food was ice cold - clearly it had been waiting in the kitchen for ages whilst the order had been forgotten. Whilst I was standing and waiting I noticed that a lot of customers were arriving thinking that they were on the table waiting list only to be informed that they had registered for the wrong branch and were turned away. Others were arriving for their table after over 2hours of wait and but had lost it due to the time interval for table hold being 10minutes - I am unsure if this was properly disclosed at the time of putting their name on the waiting list but it seems awfully ruthless after such a protracted wait. All in all, I think that whilst OEB serves up some pretty delicious (albiet pricey) breakfasts, they need to take a hard look at their customer service. They rely heavily on their enormous popularity but if it is going to negatively impact on customer satisfaction then they need to do better. I had to re-heat my meals at home which meant some wilted greens and over-cooked tuna crudo. As a consequence we have decided to take a bit of a break from OEB and try some other breakfast restaurants which is a huge letdown.

After 2 failed attempts trying to get into this place, finally made it on a weekday. Albeit there was still a 90 min wait. The trick is to join the waitlist on yelp and watch it like a hawk. Arrived at the restaurant when I was number 7 in the queue, the hostess checked us in and was seated immediately. I don't know how the system works, but I recommend getting there a few minutes before the yelp recommendation. The food was very good, I'd put it at the top in terms of brunch places in the Vancouver area. Portions were just right to not feel miserable if you finish the whole thing. I'd recommend getting anything with the potatoes because those were excellent! Skip the coffee though, it tastes like diner coffee at best
