Food was slightly on the dry side but well seasoned and delicious. Service was okay, almost felt like we were at a self serve cafe (a nice one lol), she was nice but 0 guest engagement and not very attentive given how quiet it was. The beautiful and colourful ambiance definitely needs more talkative servers to match the vibe, but again she didnât do anything wrong and is not a reason not to go back.
We had friends in town and we have always loved Nuba's Gastown and Kits locations, but decided to try the Yaletown one. We were disappointed that the menu was much smaller at the Yaletown location and felt rushed at the end of our meal because they were closing at 9:00pm. Service seemed less friendly and attention to detail than other locations I've visited. Don't think I'll be back to the Yaletown Nuba.
Waiter was very kind and the food always looks and tastes amazing. Came all the way from Mission and it was worth it.
Made the trek downtown for the amazing meal. Was treating a friend from our of town and was looking forward to returning to Nuba. The service was disappointing. Server seemed disinterested and almost a bit arrogant? It was a strange vibe. Nobody behind the counter smiled. Our drinks arrived after our food. Just not the experience that I was expecting! Not sure Iâll go back.
We called in for an evening meal and were really impressed with the food and service. We ordered 4 chicken shish kebabs, rice and flatbread. The food was delicious and freshly cooked. Our waited, Sean, was polite, attentive and a really good host. He recommended a local IPA, which was a really nice beer. If you are in Yaletown, call in and you will not be disappointed.

We were there for my best friend and his husbands honeymoon! Our server was amazing and gave them desert on the house! The whole experience was a great start to their honeymoon in Van!
