Food was great. Service was poor. First, seating arrangement was poor (less than desired). They deceived us by making us order flatbread (and pay for it) even though free pita was available for everyone. When we asked if bread came with meals, we were told no. We then proceeded to order flatbread, only to find out from a fellow patron that pita was free. Free pita was served cold. The server never came back to see if we needed anything.
Great place to dine. Itâs still taking some time to get used to dining out these days appears to be 20% more than it was 23 years ago. This is not just for Nuba, but all restaurants. Would I go back to Nuba, in a heartbeat ð, the food is just that good.

The food and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. My fiancee and I each had the Le Grand Feast, which was an excellent way to sample all of the offerings at Nuba.
Food was great, but service was very lacking. Our drinks never came, food came out at strange intervals, and no one checked in on our table. Our server did explain and apologize that they were understaffed, however for the price point and expectations it was underwhelming.
First time at thr Gastown location and loved it. Such a crowd friendly menu and really delicious. The quality of the cocktails was a very pleasant surprise too!
