Great Korean fried chicken. I found that the whole chicken was enough for two people with leftovers. We got the swicy and soy garlic flavours.
Went on happy hour, so I got 1/2 order natural flavor.And ordered the sweet one was tasty but a little bit much of sauce and too sticky a Is a good portion, I liked the flavor, the staff was very nice
a bit late to write this one, had this over a month ago, but my memory still fresh because of how good this chicken was!Chicken was crispy, juicy not dry. They give big portions with lots of finely cut green onion. They even put the menu items in a cute little pizza box which was interesting.really craving to go back again.
Ordered ahead via Phone and told them a pick up time of 3:15pm. My order was sitting there when I got to the store. I paid at the till and got my order. It was still hot and fresh.I ordered half boneless snowing chilli, the half boneless soy garlic and the yes burger.The boneless snowing chilli was pretty delicious. It wasn't overly spicy, had a bit of sweetness to it. I found the chicken a tad dry but pretty crispy. The pieces are quite big and enough to feed 3-4 people.The boneless soy garlic was a bit too sweet for me. Wish there was a big more garlic flavour. Again chicken was pretty crispy but a bit dry.The yes burger.. wait for it.. tasted like the McDonald's big Mac with fried chicken. Their NeNe secret creamy sauce tasted like a big Mac. The chicken was juicy here and pretty crispy almost like Church's chicken sandwiches. The bun was too soft and kind of melted with the sauce. If you like the big mac sauce you will probably like this sandwich.Overall, I had high hopes for NeNes chicken but after trying it I was kind of let down. It isn't the best Korean fried chicken I've had in Vancouver but also not the worse. I found the prices somewhat high for what you get and also the chicken isn't as crispy as other places. Overall wouldn't recommend NeNes and I also wouldn't visit again. I would say if you haven't tried it though, you should. It might just be your cup of tea.
I ordered takout for boneless half soy garlic and half swicy flavors. It was great. I liked them. However, the porsion is not that big. The taste was great for both of the flavours.
I was really looking forward to this place but this was definitely one of the most bang average Korean fried chicken I’ve had - one of my first times that I threw chicken in the bin. Don’t recommend.
The place has been here for a little while but I haven't had the chance/motivation to check it out.I decided to give it a shot for lunch. Since I have never been, I asked the guy for his recommendation, he was friendly and helpful. I ordered a half portion of the Swicy, bone-in chicken for take out. Not a long trip home but I was surprised because even though there was a lot of sauce on it, it was still quite crispy.It feels like it is a tad on the pricy side but the chicken was outstanding so I don't really object.I look forward to going back and checking out some of the other flavours.
Ordered burgers with fries through Ubereats, and we loved it!The portion of chicken was pretty good, and the taste was also amazing. Loved the cheese powder for the fries!! But it’d be much better if there’s more fries.
We came here for our trip to Squamish. When I ordered, I asked how many pieces there were for the half portion, the staff did not know and had to look it up on his cell phone. And when I asked him how long my order will take, he said about three minutes, but I ended up waiting for 20 minutes. Despite the initial bad experience, the boneless swicy chicken and soy garlic chicken were both very crunchy on the outside, and very tender inside. But I felt that the swicy flavour was too sweet for me. The portion was fair for its price. I would like to try the spicy one next time. The side dish, sweet-and-sour daikon radish was so good. And the packaging was nice too
Even their Chicken sandwich taste good.Me and my girl friend had Hot bling burger last night, and there is nothing to complaint about.Nicely toasted bun, fresh veggie, well-balanced spicy sauce, and awesome fried chicken meat.I will go back definitely.
