Authentic mumbai food! Pav bhaji is a must try. Great presentation, plenty of vegetarian options.Service/ billing was a bit slow

Mumbai local is one of the restaurants in Vancouver downtown, they have really good Indian food and menu.We took sukka chicken(dry chicken) and wadapaav. They were cooked good and had a good taste as well. I would recommend this if you're in downtown and craving Indian food.PS - Cost to quantity ratio is not good. Be ready to spend some fortune.

Best best best restaurant in Canada not only Vancouver. Been to many restaurants in Canada in Vancouver, Montreal but nothing beats this. Pav bhaji and misal beat some of the bests in Mumbai too ..!Definitely my favorite favorite restaurant in Canada. Good ambience, food and staff. If you crave Mumbai street food this is the place

Came here and brought a friend to try indian food after a year long gap as didn't have a nice experience last time. Glad that i was back. The food was amazing. Gandharv was assisting us and loved his service. Such a cheerful and amazing host!

Offers a refreshing take on Indian food. Bright and modern, with an innovative menu you won't find anywhere else. Listen to some modern Indian EDM for the final touch. Refreshingly modern.

Went in for the chaat menu. Pav Bhaji was the best - crispy Pav and tasty Bhaji. Vada Pav was very authentic both in terms of the Pav and the stuffing. Better than most places where they try pass off the burger bun as Pav. Bhel Puri could have been a bit less soggy, but it was still very good and authentic. The staff was very courteous and the music and ambience had a chill vibe. Definitely a good spot to hit if you're planning a visit to English bay/sunset beach.

The food was good and they have some good options on their menu. The only thing that we didn't like was the service. It was not very good. The server forgot to bring the beer we had ordered and I had to remind him and was served almost after 15-20 mins. The other thing was we ordered two plates of samosa chaat, the server got a plate of samosa and told that the kitchen messed up the order so he will bring us two plates of samosa chaat as well. But he comes back after 5 minutes and asked us if are okay with the samosas or we still wanted the samosa chaat and if we did then he would have to take back the samosas to prepare the other dishes. This seemed a bit weird as the mistake was on them. Also they did not even apologize for the mistake.

Amazing place , I was stunned to taste vada pav as it tasted same like we get in Mumbai ! Chat platter and chicken lollipop were great too.

No adequate heating during arctic outflow. Guys, please get some overhead heaters installed. The food was of very good quality though.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.. The quantity and quality of the food as compared to the price is a big big waste. Just by naming the restaurant “Mumbai” doesn’t mean it should be so expensive.. “Mumbai local food” is known for quantity and quality in lesser price. I spent nearly 40$ for just 2 main course dish and the quantity together of both the dish was that of a 5 year old child. I am born brought up Mumbai and went to this restaurant just to get that Mumbai local street food experience but instead got less food at the price of a 5 star restaurant in Mumbai.. pls don’t name this restaurant as “Mumbai Local”. Kindly do some justice to it’s name.
