We adore this cafe! No detail has be overlooked. The staff are consistently friendly, everything is super clean, and the food...delicious! The bathroom is even heavenly with pretty vintage French decor and fresh flowers. In my opinion, a spotless customer bathroom tells you how clean the kitchen is! Make a reservation ahead of time if you don't want to wait for a table because this place is popular, but for good reason. They also have a cute market with French ingredients for sale. It seems to be forever changing whenever we visit. They also offer take-out which our children have taken advantage of and loved it. Can't wait to return.
The may menu pan seared Sable fish with the mushrooms and velouté sauce is so good. The sauce very flavorful and the mushrooms are the perfect match. I still think about it days after going there ?We also got the French Eggs & fior di latte. With the added smoked salmon is a great brunch item.We went on Sunday around 11 and it was only a 5 minute wait. But if you can make a reservation, you should because there aren't many tables.
Excellent customer service and delectable food! My party had encountered an issue before our reservation and ended up being late, but we were reassured to arrive safely when we called and was shown immediately to our table upon arrival. The exceptional service from our waitress was night and day compared to our nightmarish issue with our hotel just 30 min earlier. She was polite and answered every question regarding recommendations for store merchandise with incredible knowledge of all the products which I fully appreciate. And the food! Every dish was delicious, the mushroom soup was a perfect blend of vegetables and not too salty, the eggs benedict with smoked salmon was to-die-for, even the side salad vinaigrette had the perfect amount of tartness to balance out the hollandaise sauce of the main entrée. The coffee and croissant were also amazing. We will definitely come back again!
Second visit at this place. Food and service were as good as the first vist. Really quite neighbourhood in Vancouver; near Grandville Island and Kitslano. It makes a nice day trip in Vancouver have it breakfast or brunch there and going elsewhere after.
The BEST brunch. Honestly this hollandaise sauce was the best I’ve ever had. The atmosphere is the most precious, we could have been in the south of France. The entire staff could not be more lovely. If you’re visiting Van this is MUST visit!
The new menu doesn’t have lots to choose from but they tasted so good! We had mushroom soup salad and beef. Everything was great except just be prepared for waiting almost 2 hours for a table.
Such a beautiful cafe and store with a great selection of artisan products!Love coming here for coffee and a bite or some shopping! They legit have the best burrata in town (original from Italy)!
Thoroughly enjoyed my visit here! A quick bite of caramel apple pie was absolutely delightful. I would pass on their hot chocolate, not that its bad but I didnt find it extraordinary.I was hoping for a more rich and viscous hot chocolate but this was the lighter North American style. Definitely will be visiting again.
Brunch starts at 10amIf you are the second seating be prepared to wait 30-45 mins for a seat indoors as there are only 4 tablesOrdered the Benedict andEnded with the coffee cake to end and it was delightful
Friendly staff, cozy and elegant dining environment, on-the-spot seasoning food!Their in house sourdough bread is really well fermented, and the dense texture compliments well with the olive oil and the vinegars on the salad.Smoke salmon's flavour is light and pleasant.Double smoked bacon is crispy and not too greasy <3pretty satisfying brunch overall.
