had a really pleasant experience with the new cashier Tyler or Tyson, the two young guys working were lively and friendly. chicken wrap was too die for. perfect bar food!!
Today I had my best Mitra experience yet. There was a chef working there that I hadn’t noticed before. He was sporting a shaved head and looked like he knows his way around a kitchen. He made the best chicken shawarma I’ve ever had in my life. It was thinner than usual, like the way they sell them at street food stands in the Middle East. The chicken was perfectly crispy and charred. Everyone around me was commenting on how good it smelled and looked.Any time I walk by and notice him there I’m getting a damn shawarma, regardless if I’m hungry or not. That really was an amazing experience.
Shawarma beef was terrible. They used something like cooked Bologna Sausage instead of meat and beef.Smell, taste and quality was terrible we couldn't eat our sandwich as you see on the picture that I attached. I don't recomend this place
The in store server is not Jolly, it seems that she doesn't like her job. It was my first time in thsi restaurant and she is not helpful at all. No recommendations, no greetings and not polite! So rude!About the food quality though is not that great either for the price. Not that tasty and juicy, in what ive been looking for in Shawarma..I dont recommend this place and for sure I will never come back.
I came here a few months ago with my family and I was so disappointed by the food and the service we received. The person serving us wasn't wearing his mask properly and the food was terrible quality. Portions were small and the food itself was incredibly bland. We both had shawarma wraps hoping for a nice grab and go meal as we were very hungry! We've had much better shawarma in other locations across the city that actually had flavour with fresh ingredients. I was so disgusted by the chicken that.I didn't even finish it and gave it to my partner (who ended up throwing it away). It was such a waste of money going here and worst of all, I was still hungry afterwards. :-(
Bland, potatoes and dolma. overcooked dry chicken not worth 45 dollars for two meals.
We went to Mitra on Family Day after a long day of moving. There was seven of us in our party. After our experience we will never go back again. We sat outside in their patio area. Because it was so cold outside, we were glad they had an overhead heater. Unfortunately, it only worked on one half of the patio. We told we couldn't sit in the heated area because it was for drinking only so we had to sit in the unheated section. It was also very drafty as the walls are only built of cheap aluminium and glass. One of the members of the party actually got a sliver from the wooden bench.I received a cut on my finger from the aluminum door. The wrap I ordered was so poorly made as soon as I unwrapped it, half of it ended up on me and on the floor. It was the worst wrap Ii have ever had.I complained to management but the owner disappeared so I could not talk directly to him.Never going back again.
Worst Shawarma they said;it's not actually a real beef.. Wiill never gonna go back again.
Great little place to get your shawarma fix
This hole-in-the-wall place honestly kinda blew me away, as someone who loves good deals :)I'm def not an expert on middle eastern / Mediterranean food (only tried Nuba/Chickpea). I'd say the prices here are super reasonable and make for a super fun weekend dinner out :)Anyways, my date suggested this place, and I was like ooh, sounds interesting, I want to try it :D I definitely recommend it if you are in the Neighbourhood and looking for affordably priced and delicious middle eastern food. Again, not an expert, but for someone on a somewhat clean diet, I didn't feel bloated or that the food had too much MSG/grease.Got the falafel platter - the falafels were the perfect consistency and came with some super delish sauce, the hummus was creamier than most I've tried, and the rice (which was a mix of brown and white rice) was pillowy soft, and the salad tasted fresh (unlike many places where it's kinda limp :( ) For $12, this was a true steal :)I was perusing the menu and for meat-eaters, the shawarma plate and lamb shank look utterly delicious :)Will be back for a good cheat meal and more grub ;)Also, props to the lady out front who manned the cashier AND cooked the food. Please tip generously if you see her :)
