Not sure how providing excellent customer experience involves not accepting CASH as payment. I guess business is just too good and they can do without your grubby money. Lots of other great places to get your ice cream fix that aren’t neurotic and paranoid!
Saw this place on TikTok and decided to check it out. Tried the Oreo S’mores Ice Cream Bar. For me it was a little bit too much going on. Flavour was good, just overwhelming sweet. I would likely recommend sharing with someone. Will definitely return to try the many unique ice cream flavours offered here though
While strolling through Yaletown, we noticed a long line at this shop and were curious about what it was. When we discovered it was an ice cream shop, we joined the line and now we’ve been back two more times. There’s usually a line, even at closing time, but it’s absolutely worth the wait. You definitely need to try one of their ice cream concoctions. We’ve tried their crème brûlée cup, strawberry mint and bananas foster ice cream sandwiches, and Nanaimo ice cream bar flavours, but they have so many more unique ones that they rotate.
Very highly recommended! We ordered creme brûlée ice cream sandwich which is my favorite! So smooth and tasty? match ice cream sandwich, double Oreo ice cream and s’more ice cream bar are also good!
Interesting flavors and the ice cream was very creamy! We tried the Hong Kong milk tea and double oreo flavors. Both were really good. Definitely worth a visit! There was no indoor seating during out visit but there are plenty of benches available outside.
I honestly really like this place! I feel like they're known for their creme brulee ice cream and ice cream sandwich, so if you opt for the other flavors that might be why this place doesn't have high ratings? The creme brulee tastes just like the dessert and they even sprinkle icing sugar and torch it. The ice cream sandwich is in between two Oreo crusts and its also torched on the sides. Super delicious! There is no indoor seating due to covid so you have to wait in line as there is also only 6 people max inside.
Decent double Oreo ice cream, the ice cream tasted basic but the wafers tasted nice, crunchy and Oreo flavored. 7$ is pretty steep for a very small sandwich.
Last time, I tried the S’mores sandwich, and felt a bit too sweet. Today, I came back again to try their ice cream. I was surprised that they made ice cream by order ? (which means the ice cream is very fresh)I had the lavender brûlée and my bf had the jasmine tea, and both of them are amazing ?So happy to try it~~
awesome place for after dinner treats
So I had actually intended on stopping here on the weekend but the line was giving an eternity, so I opted for a weeknight. This super tiny ice cream shop gives off a cool, fresh (literally) and modern vibe. Their use of liquid nitrogen is so smart and really adds an awesome visual element to your experience as you watch your cold treat come together through the glass. As some of you may know, I am a dairy intolerant babe. So you already know I opted for their Vegan Vanilla OatMilk! Despite my intolerance, I was intrigued by the Crème Brûlée flavour (which is not dairy free). However, to my surprise, one of the sweet girls preparing the ice cream said she could Brûlée the Vegan Vanilla OatMilk Ice Cream Sandwich! So that’s what I got and I was extremely impressed!First of all, I haven’t had an ice cream sandwich since I was a little kid so that was super nostalgic! But this wasn’t just any old ice cream sandwich.. the cookie was a crumbly deep chocolate.. a sort of cross between the crumble in a Dairy Queen cake and a crushed Oreo cookie. The ice cream was actually phenomenal! Best vegan ice cream I’ve ever had! I genuinely could not tell it wasn’t dairy. Then to tie the whole treat together, the Brûléed sides were TOO nice! The deep caramelized and toasty flavour was to die for.I literally have nothing negative to say, and I didn’t even have an actual dairy flavour so I can image flavours like the Double Oreo, S’mores and Crème Brûlée were amazing.
