My friends and family tumbled on this great little restaurant. The owner and staff were wonderful and the food was fantastic. We dine out often and look forward to returning soon.

I used to frequent this place quite often, but I doubt I'll be coming back again. The food here used to be really good and the service was decent. The last time I went in, we were served by an older guy. He was incredibly pushy and rude. Told us he would bring us the most expensive BBQ platter despite us not wanting that much food. After that, he forgot a bunch of sides, forgot drinks repeatedly, and was generally just really rude and pushy. The place was pretty empty empty at the time, so it's not as if he was juggling multiple tables or anything. It was a super disappointing experience.

Absolutely delicious! Meat was tender, kimchi was spicy, atmosphere was good with helpful waiters. Definitely will come back!

I would give ZERO stars if I could. Probably the RUDEST server/owner EVER. The whole place was empty with one occupied table. He sits my family down on a DIRTY table and never brought us a menu. We sat at this messy table for awhile without a menu so I had to get up and find the menus myself. I was not impressed. Then he comes to the table and yells/ask me "ARE YOU MAD?" I said "I'm fine" not wanting to have a confrontation over his lack of service and attitude hoping to just order and get some food and leave. My kids asks for the wifi and he responded rudely and brushed them off. We wanted to order since we have been sitting there for a while... rang for service probably 3x. He knew, but he never came around. Felt like he did this on purpose. My kids started calling for him because they knew we were ringing him. He FINALLY came over with such bitter attitude. I finally asked what his problem was. He said "I don't like your face that looks mad". I was shocked. I told him I didn't appreciate this and we just got up and left. Never had such bad service ever. Don't bother eating here, you will wait for service for TOO LONG and with attitude. Not sure how he is in the service industry. Shocks me.

Three reasons not to go here1. The service is worst. Server just dropped the menu and never check our table again even our grill becomes black. And the attitude is the worst.2. They don’t show the exact amount of their portion for each menu. It is crazy. When I ask about the exact amount to server, she is even not sure about it.3. The quality of meat is terrible. It is not worthy to pay.Don’t waste your time and money.

Excellent !! Great atmosphere and service ! Definitely a good choice in Downtown Vancouver.

people were so helpful for first time bbq family and friendly and accommodating went to the other one around the corner and they could not compare to this place

Food was good but service was lacking. Server just plonked everything on the table and didn’t engage with us at all…no advice on what to do. The menu said there would be corn and cheese but they had neither…I think the server said they don’t do that anymore. We had 3 small pieces of potato (which was delicious!) for the two of us…could have eaten much more!.

Here's why you should not come to this spot:-The owner is very deceiving, he overcharged me by adding a 15% tip to the total, sweet talked us while I was paying hoping that we don't notice what he's doing with the machine.-Overpriced Food. Unreasonable Portions. Quality of the meat does not match the price.-Very poor customer service skills. If you still decide to come eat here make sure you: check the bill before paying.

I really dislike this place. The Korean BBQ is pretty authentic in that they have fresh un-marinated meat and many Korean sauces for dipping but that’s where the good stops!!Came here for drinks on a rainy cold night around 9pm. There was only one other table. We sat down and ordered several bottles of soju and makuli (rice wine) between two people and were drinking it quickly. After finishing the soju (30 minutes) the server says “sorry you need to order food to stay, its minimum $15 per person”. I was shocked. Our drink order was already a lot and we were forced to order food and to make matters worse, everything I wanted to eat was sold out by that time. We didn’t even stay long, took the food to go because we just wanted quick drinks before going out.Not sure if the minimum changed but wanted to give everyone a heads up!!!
