The food itself tasted good but nothing special. The Mango Lassi was actually really good.Unfortunately, the restaurant itself was underwhelming at best. Not the cleanest venue, hot inside and just a poor atmosphere to dine in. I wouldn’t recommend dining in unless you’re not concerned with the atmosphere. The staff are friendly though and the food comes out at a reasonable time. The prices are about average. You can find value in the lunch specials which is really the one of the better things about this restaurant.

The worst restaurant experience ever. We went for lunch there and apart from chef's hard work and passion, nothing is good about this restaurant. Didn't want to comment because of the chef's love towards his job but I think hygiene and cleanliness is something you can't compromise with. You can sense that as soon as you enter. It was boiling hot in there. Though there are fans but with an open kitchen, nothing seems to help. Food was kind of good and I agree with most reviews so far( which made us go there), it's a authentic home taste but if not in a hygenic environment, can't appreciate it.

The experienced chef certainly knows the authentic flavor of Indo-Pakistanian cuisines. Food was really great and indeed much better than many restaurants in Vancouver with fancy interior.

Very authentic flavours. Really kind and friendly family run business. Special mention to the chef. I can totally understand why celebrities come to enjoy his food. Food was so tempting forgot to take pictures ? Next time.

Incredibly delicious authentic cuisine. Bravo!

The owner is super friendly and nice. I ordered 7 dishes to go and he even offered to carry the food to my car. Food tastes great as well! Definitely will go back for my indian food cravings.

Good food and prices. I liked the atmosphere. Old building, nothing fancy but nicely set up. Staff is friendly. Unfortunately it was really cold inside.

You wont get more authentic, delicious and fresh South Asian food elsewhere in Vancouver. A bit congested and rustic place. The owner-cum-cook is very humble and sweet person.

I would recommend skipping, much better Indian restaurants in town. Not sure how it has such a high rating, butter chicken was sour and flavourless (also a pitifully small portion of protein), lamb saag was too salty, fish masala was passable but not actually good. Only upside was included naan and rice, and the naan was good. Overall a sad use of my stomach space and money.

Food taste is average and the seating area is very old.Prices are like a five star. I would not go again.
