Had a Minus Cup Combo of their Blueberry Lavender Slush and Earl Grey Toasted Milk Cake. It's nice that we're able to mix and match the cake/drink. The cake was refreshing and smooth with crunchy chocolate bites. The lavender flavour in the drink was strong, and I liked that it wasn't overpowered by the blueberry. The plastic cake cylinder snaps onto the drink lid for easy transport. The shop is clean with cute décor. It's a tad pricey so not your everyday treat, but they have unique flavours that warrant a trip back.
My experience here was good overall! The staff were kind, and the space is really calm and aesthetic.I ordered the combo #6, which was the matcha one.The cake was delicious! Not too sweet, a great blend with the yuzu flavour and it was nice and fluffy.The drink however, made me turn off. It was hard to stir (because of the cake, so that is understandable) so it was very uneven. When i first took a sip, all I got was milk? When I shook it around with the matcha and it blended together, there was an over powering flavour of matcha that was NOT sweet and with the milk it tasted very bitter. Is the drink supposed to have a sweetener and they forgot? Or is it supposed to be that way? I found it very unappealing.I would come again, but I would order something different this time.
Really great cakes and drinks! Price was a little high but the food and drinks were worth it. Cafe looked really cute and aesthetic. Really recommend visiting this place!

Late ReviewWe have ordered from Minus Cake Boutique for many festive occasions and our favourite cake is the Jasmine Pearl Lava Cake. It is very creamy with subtle salty and sweet caramelized filling.Unfortunately when I bought the 8inch cake for my mother's birthday November 27, 2021, we discovered the cream in the centre was sour- like sour cream. This made the entire cake taste weird and off-putting .We called the next morning to ask the baker if they knew what happened, although they were not sure and had some hypothesis (maybe they forgot to thin out the cream with fresh cream?) Minus Cake Boutique took ownership of their product and offered to refund (if we bring the cake back) or make a replacement cake.I purchased many times from Minus and a refund was not what I was looking for. I simply wanted to inform them about the quality of their item. There was no way my family could eat another whole 8inch cake (we hate wastage and were determined to carve the sour cream part out of the first cake and make do with what we had) so I suggested making a smaller 6inch one so that we could taste what the cake should taste like.Minus Cake Boutique delivered and we picked up the remade cake and I am grateful and super happy to say, it tasted just the way we remembered it to be.Thank you very much for coming through with excellent customer service. We are very happy and will continue to buy your specialty cakes in the future. Already eyeing another cake for our next festive celebration.
The drinks and cake are cute for pictures but they are not worth the money. They are overpriced and mediocre at best. It is a very busy cafe with a few tables to sit and enjoy your treats. The cakes were dry and definitely not fresh. The drinks did not taste like what they were intended to taste like. Parking is also difficult. The inside of the cafe is beautiful.
Unique experience when you're in town. The guy at the counter was nice and helped us decide on our orders. The vibe inside is modern with great areas to take your insta pics! We went in the evening so it was empty enough to find a nice place to sit. The taste of the drink/cake was average. I just liked the concept + reasonable price. I ordered the Coconut mango cake with passion fruit, grape fruit refresher.

Definitely worth trying once! The flavor was a bit off for me so I’m giving a lower rating. I feel like the value is somewhat there though. Nice decor inside.
