I LOVE THIS RESTAURANT!! Definitely one of the BEST Greek Restaurants in Vancouver! My wife and I had an amazing first time at Minerva’s!The ambiance of the restaurant was so welcoming. It felt like visiting your loved ones. We could feel the sincerity of their staff, and the food was AAAMAZING!! Would highly recommend this place to anyone who likes and wants to try Greek food.We are so excited to come back again with our families :)). This place was recommended by Ryan Reynolds! So thanks Deadpool! ??

Ordered the chicken souvlaki. For $26 I expected better and/or more food. The Greek salad was fine, the potatoes and rice were good, and there were 7 small cubes of the driest chicken I've ever had in a restaurant. When I notified the server they returned with properly cooked chicken in a larger quantity more befitting of the price. All in all it was a disappointing bother but I will give three stars for correcting the sad excuse for chicken.

Dinner last night at Minerva Greek Restaurant. So nice to see this neighborhood restaurant thriving with the locals. Family-run, you can feel and taste the pride they have in their business. Glenda is an absolute gem, together with Eva who attended to us. When a glass of beer was mistakenly dropped making a mess, they both jumped into action and cleaned up the spill and shards of glass immediately, recognizing it was a liability in case a patron came in and slipped on the wet surface. Couldn’t help but notice the hostess just watched them. She should’ve pitched in like everyone did. Anyway, hats off to Glenda and Eva. You both rock!By the way, we ordered the moussaka and calamari dinner which were both generous in portion and priced in mid-$20s. Tasty and cooked just right.

Pretty decent Greek food from an extensive menu. It was busy at 6:30 on a Sunday night, but we had a reservation. Service was efficient and friendly. Will return.

I really don't know what all the fuss is about. Maybe because Ryan Reynolds likes it. But I was not that impressed. The food was ok. Not a huge amount for the price. We got our food and that was the last time we saw the waiter. I had to get up and grab salt and pepper off a station. No refills of water. Plus you are asked to leave after a certain amount of time so they can get as many people into the restaurant as possible. I have had better Greek food! And better service!

Do not eat here! Do not eat here! They serve rancid lobsters and when we find out it, their manager just say don’t order seafood here next time. They just gonna take lobster out of your bill. ??? Please remove your seafood on the menu don’t poisoning people!!!

This place was so busy when we came, a sign of good things to come we had hoped. Service was good and the food came fast. We ordered the prawn souvlaki. We were served Greek salad first, and then the potatoes, rice, and prawns. The prawns were great, juicy and tender, and the rice was delicious. Unfortunately the potatoes (my favourite part), were an absolute miss. They tasted soapy and gross. The first bite was fine, but the aftertaste was bad. I struggled to finish them, but didn’t want to waste food. I’m not sure what was going on with that, but it was disappointing. Not sure if I would go back.

Minerva's is amazing. I've been here countless time over the past few years and I am always extremely happy with the food. The chicken lasagna is always delicious. The calamari is some of the best in Vancouver in my opinion. The restaurant has been here for ages and it's quality has always stayed at a high level. It can be quite busy during peak hours, so definitely make a reservation!

We ordered pick up for five people. We phoned in and were told to pick up in half an hour. When we got the food home and went to chow down, all of the items were poor. Two orders of Roast Lamb Shoulder, dry and overcooked. One order of Charbroiled Baby Back Ribs, dry and overcooked. One Chicken Souvlaki, dry and overcooked. We ordered one order of Wild Mushroom Ravioli which the order taker read back to me. It was not shipped or charged for.

Everything was perfect. My husband ordered the Roasted Lamb Shoulder and it was juicy and perfectly cooked. The rice, the pita and the potatoes were also pretty good. I ordered the meat-tastic pizza and it was wonderful. The sauce was the perfect amount and you could feel every meat's flavor. We ordered desserts and both were perfect. We fell in love with the place and will definitely be coming back!!
