The coffee is very good but the communal sitting is not my preferred atmosphere. I don’t go as often since they went vegan on the baked goods. Not because it’s vegan but because it just wasn’t as good. It’s their store so congrats on a business model that appears to be successful. There something for everyone in the neighbourhood.

I love coming here, but would have to say that my experience with staff today was not respectful.Have informed staff kindly that their hand sanitizer bottles needed to be refilled so that I can sanitize my hands, she gave me an odd look and an uncertain response when I mentioned about it. When my breakfast sandwich came, I waited for staff to refill their bottles of hand sanitizer (for about 15mins), but they were both standing in the kitchen (one that was on their phone and the other pacing back + forth). Both even laughed about it moments later, which really didn’t make me feel any better.I would’ve used my common sense and washed my hands, but after doing dry needling from Main street physio, my left arm was too sore to even lift or move, so I thought it would be easier for me to sanitize my hands.Staff did refill the bottles an hour or so later. I didn’t want to say anything, but I was left feeling disrespected and disappointed. I hope another customer like myself won’t be receiving this kind of experience when visiting this location. Food and latte is great as always, unsure about the less helpful staff attitude.
Visited on December 29th. Chose this place because it was cold & we wanted to sit inside. One minute after getting my order and sitting down they said we are closing at noon today. Nothing was mentioned when I ordered a minute ago and no sign or notice as far as I checked! Then they were acting weird so people get out faster like throwing compost bags on the floor!! Seems like there is no guidance or management. Crazy experience and not going back sometime soon! Specially since there are many good coffee shops on main street!!
Had a mocha and classic breakfast sandwich. Both tasted amazing and the latte art was great. Staff were very friendly and the place was clean. Only thing is serving sizes tend to be a bit small but everything is worth it!
Their hot chocolate had the perfect level of sweetness and temperature. It wasn’t too hot when served which I liked and it allowed me to dig in immediately and enjoy it.The store has a very nice design as well.
Came here to relax on our day off and was able to enjoy a mocha and latte. Both were well done and was consistent. We had a better experience at this location vs the Fraser/Kingsway. Hope to come back soon to try their pour-overs.
Overpriced and dirty. There was hair, spider webs and half eaten cookies in the windowsills. The floor was littered with soggy used napkins and papers. The garbages were overflowing. Most of the plants looked half dead. While I cannot comment on the food, the teas were totally overpriced and the peppermint tea was out of stock. Save your money.
I enjoy coming here. The coffee is delicious but they have two sizes - small and regular. So odd! I usually end up ordering two. I find the staff a lot nicer nowadays. The Earl Grey muffin is delicious.
I don't know much about coffee but I enjoyed their feature pour over. Nice space with plenty of seating but it gets busy. Props to the employees here for keeping the line moving.
