I've been coming to this place for years. It must have changed ownership, as it's lost all of its swag. Used to be a great little Italian bistro. The only place to get real authentic neapolitan pizza. Now it's just an overpriced restaurant with poor service. I couldn't believe my pizza came without even basil on it. I lived in Napoli. Their calzone ain't no longer have ricotta cheese inside and they cost a fortune for barely any toppings. The bathroom smelled very badly of urine. No longer is there a master pizza maker twirling the dough, I'm giving its patrons a peek into real Italian patronage. I was extremely disappointed and probably won't be back.
New ownership has ruined Lombardos. My husband's family had been coming here for over 20 yrs as a tradition for his birthday every year. We skipped the last 2 due to covid, this year once things opened up we went back as was tradition.I cannot even describe how disappointed we were. I will say the only thing they still do right here is the pizza. However they even managed to mess that order up too - we asked for a large pizza to share for the table but they brought us a medium by mistake.The smoked salmon pasta with capers was my favorite dish here. When it arrived for some reason the pasta had an orange hue to it? & was completely over cooked. The sauce was also curdled. My mother in law ordered the clam vongle but it smelled so fishy she couldn't even eat it. My father in law ordered pasta with a side of chicken and salad - he says the chicken was dry, the pasta sauce tasted like it was out of a jar & they forgot his salad. Both my mother in law sent our meals back & asked for the creamy pesto pasta which my husband ordered & said was OK. After about 20 mins the server came back & told us they remade the same dishes we sent back by mistake instead of the pesto as we requested. So we said forget it & just ordered some pizzas to go since it was getting late & we were beyond annoyed and disappointed by this point.Overall it was the worst dining experience I've had in a very long time. They're short staffed which means most tables are tended to as they should be. They should stick to pizza's only at this point because that seems to be the only dish they're capable of getting right.I think we'll be taking our business Marcelo's next year.
My partner took me here for dinner tonight and it was the best experience, best Valentine’s Day. The decoration everything felt super cozy and the music was great. The food was absolutely amazing, generous portions decent prices. The pizza and pasta had great Italian flavors, can’t wait to come back here and try it again with family.
Apparently, delivery drivers are not human/customer enough for you guys to let them use your washrooms. Enjoy your evening guys, hope you find some of the nicest delivery drivers who never have to go to washrooms. I'm sorry, I'm not one of them. I wish luck to you and your customers.
Ate here on Christmas Eve around 2pm and it was horrendous food. The focaccia recipe is not the same as it was and this dish I ordered was close to disgusting. The Alfredo sauce was soupy as you can see and that is not linguine. The Caesar salad was more like mayo salad and didn’t even have any garlic in it. The management has changed and this place will lose all its regular customers. Service was good so I still tipped my usual 20% but I did let them know their food is awful. DON’T GO HERE!!!?
Hi, I just received my order from Lombardo through Uber Eats, and for some reason it didn’t give me an option to review. I used to eat at Lombardo all the time and loved their pasta and their salads used to be amazing.I ordered the lasagne and the mista salad as well as a seafood penne.It came to almost 80 dollars. And I have never been so blatantly ripped off from a restaurant in my life. Take a look at the pictures and tell me that’s an 80 dollar meal. The lasagne was less than the size of my palm, the penne was gross and skimpy too, and the salad is just literal lettuce slices finely chopped. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE unless you want to waste large amounts of your hard earned money!!! I’m so so mad and upset this order felt like a slap in the face!
The pizza here is so flavourful, one of the best. But only gave it 4 stars because the pasta (while homemade noodles were great) sauces lack in the flavour department.

To begin with, they made a huge fight over my 10 year old son not having a vaccination passport. He's 10! At this point and time, he can't even get vaccinated. They are overpriced and incredibly lazy. Read the other reviews for more details. When the previous owners' sold their business, they handed it over to greedy and ignorant people. The name Lombardo was once recognised as having both great food and service. I remember them fondly. And over the course of a year or so, the name has now become synonymous with being ripped off and for having terrible service and food. I predict this business will not be around long; not because of Covid but because of terrible food and deplorable service. Save your money and eat at the many other excellent Italian restaurants this city has to offer.
Order a Salmon pizza and a Margherita and I couldn’t tell the difference only few pieces of Salmon in the pizza.
