They're located on a corner in beautiful Gas town. Weather permitting you can sit outside and enjoy the unique historic feel that this part of downtown Vancouver has to offer.Service staff are very attentive. The food could be better but not too bad. Hence the 4 starts rather than 5. Although it could've just been what I ordered and the heat. Yesterday was one of the hottest days of the year here in BC.
It was definitely patio weather at 26 degrees, so we sat outside. With twinkly lights and a brick heritage building, nothing can go wrong with this place! We had the wings with blue cheese, blackened chicken sandwich, that crispy chicken sandwich, and icecream sandwich for dessert. The colada crush is sweet and mellow, the right choice for a warm night. The patty of that crispy chicken sandwich could have been a little more spicy, but I loved the fries! They are thin and perfect! The wings are spicy and tangy, just the way they should be. The staff are very welcoming.
Delicious & interesting food options. Not just all burger/sandwich. However it's gonna cost quite a bit for drinks if you like drinking. Idk maybe it's just that day but i feel like not much alcohol in the drinks?
Recently came here for supper. Great staff service, great portions, fresh hot food. Facilities were very clean and welcoming. Highly recommended!
Local was the perfect spot for afternoon beers and snacks after a full day of touring Vancouver. There was a wonderful mix of tourists like us and locals of all ages enjoying the vibe both indoors and outdoors. Highly recommend!
Great place, very friendly and attentive staff and the best coleslaw I've ever had. Atmosphere inside is great with possibilities for viewing sports too. Outside is comfortable in all weather conditions too, with plenty of heaters. Discovered this place on our second to last day in Vancouver, then went there again on the last day. It was no problem whatsoever to sit outside for hours with all our luggage, as we still wanted to go into the city in our last few hours here. Highly recommended.
Always a solid spot in Gastown with a lovely patio. The gin smasher was super refreshing on a sunny day. I got the burger with fries (it was huge) and my friend got the Thai noodle salad but subbed it with crispy tofu. It was a super filling meal!
