So grateful for vegan dim sum options at Little Bird Dim Sun + Craft Beer!!! My fiancé and I love coming here for the beyond meat siu mai I believe everyone vegan or not will really enjoy it! So juicy and delicious. The fun gwo dumplings were so soft and fresh. Also love the Shanghai buns that are so crispy and fresh and come with a nice vinegar sauce. The baby gai lan is amazing - I’m usually not a fan of gai lan but the sauce and toppings on this one are amazing. Definitely recommend coming here and eating everything from the garden menu!
A little restaurant offers big selections of dim sum. If you have a group of 2 to 4 people, this is the good place to go. Usually, we can't have dim sum at night but it is a good idea. The size of the dim sum is smaller with reasonable price. The food is good.
Cosy and chic little dim sum spot with excellent food. Highly recommend. Small space good for casual date night.
We were near UBC and felt like dim sum, but there's not many options in the area, but we eventually found Little Bird on Yelp. We arrived around 1pm on a Sunday, and thankfully, it wasn't too busy. We did wait 5 minutes for a server to clear the table, but were seated shortly after that. Similar to other Chinese dim sum service, Little Bird provides a pen to mark the menu with what you want to order. Great time saver if you ask me. Food came out fairly quick. Whereas a lot of Chinese restaurants have evolved their menu over the past 2 decades, I found the food here quite nostalgic. Traditional menu items that I remember when I was much younger. It was all generally good. I think pricing is somewhat on par what you normally pay at other dim sum spots, but the portion sizes are a bit smaller. Service was OK. No complaints. Overall, a decent visit. No problem with the food or service. A dependable little place for traditional dim sum.
Good food. Solid high quality dim sum with modern twist. Especially recommend taro puff.Great beer selections. Looking forward to trying their wines next time. The interior is sleek, while warm. Really friendly staff. This restaurant is a great place to have a drink with friends or on your own.
A cute little spot with a great concept. ( dim sum for dinner??? YES!!!)Our waitress was lovely, the service fast. However, while we waited for a table, watching her take orders, clear tables, deliver food we had a hard time figuring out what the 2 fellas up front were doing ( well- not that hard- cuz they were doing NOTHING). No hellos, no eye contact… just nothing.Unfortunately, the experience didn’t get any better as the food was less than what we hoped for. Tasteless, deep fried and dry ( no sauce for anything we ordered) and terribly small portions. The dry garlic ribs were appalling & the squid was like tasteless rubber. Nothing at all like some of Vancouver’s truly wonderful dim sum spots… so for those for whom this was a first try with dim sum , keep going.. this really was a major disappointment.
The food here was great. We ordered the Siu Mai, Egg Tart, Chicken Knuckles and the Sticky Rice with Lotus Leaf. The service was quick and very delicious. Definitely worth checking out and I can't wait to come back.

Came here on a spontaneous Saturday night the eve eve of Chinese New Year and was pleasantly surprised by the tasty dim sum and beer. Had the taro puff, veg sticky rice, fried garlic squid, cilantro and shrimp dumping, shui mai, and finished with egg tart. All of them were super tasty with the chili oil! Definitely adding this to the rotation. They really should open more of these around town. Dim sum & beer is a great concept. So glad I don’t have to go to the east side anymore for dim sum!
Wowwwww amazing dim sum here!! Got your dim sum at night here you gooo!! Come here at your late night and get your dim sum!! Woohoooo letsgoo! Anyway, the dim sum is good especially the tantat. Got a burnt one and thankfully they admitted their mistakes and took ir from the bill. Glad for the reponsible behaviour of the service. Just need the tantat to be baked lesser time and to be turned inside so hopefully it doesnt get burnt. Nevertheless, it is such a good damn juicy tantat! Cheers! This is recommended from me!
