There isn't much space between this 4 star review and a 5 star review.Lions Pub was the second stop on my first date with my long term GF. And I still have great feelings about going back.Spacious and cozy all at the same time.Great food.A touch on the pricey side in the final assessment, but definitely close to being worth every penny (97 cents on the dollar?)

Great pub by the sea wall. We had a few drinks and some food and there was a nice vibe. It wasn’t too loud here or anything and the pub was also spacious so you don’t feel crowded inside. It has an English theme inside and there are also pictures that depict English culture and heritage. I personally had the bangers and mash and while it looks small, it was actually quite filling. Tasted rich and the sausages were juicy. Definitely recommend and would come back the next time I’m in the area

We ordered to go and the food was ~decent. My spouse ordered the Korean BBQ wrap and I got the burger. It was good but nothing special. This is a great place to go late night after drinks.

We began an afternoon here with our adult children. We shared some wine, had some nibbles, and enjoyed our experience very much. Our server was attentive and engaging and helped to make our experience here a great beginning to the rest of our day.
MICE EVERYWHERE. I came in with my partner for a few drinks and left feeling like I needed 100 showers. During our first drink we noticed numerous mice running around under the tables. We mentioned it to our waitress and she literally replied "yea they have been an issue for a while now but at least they are cute". In what way are mice eating food off the floor in a restaurant, somewhere customers trust to be sanitary cute?!? Apart from the mice, the tables where dirty, my cup had a lipstick ring on it and there was food all over the floor as if it had not been vacuumed in months (hence maybe why they have so many mice). I would strongly recommend you avoid. They clearly do not care about their mice infestation!
