I didn’t quite grasp the concept of this restaurant. I expected it to be great because of the reviews but I was disappointed. The service was not good.. It wasn’t busy and we didn’t have a consistent server. We had to ask to have our dirty dishes cleared and they forgot to bring us our soup (which was the best part). The rest of our dishes were not memorable. The tuna tartare come on top of avocado and it tasted more like guacamole than tartare. The Vietnamese coffee was great!

No reservation needed for table for 2, even though the restaurant was busy on Friday night, we were seated right away. Food arrived quickly, everything was great. I love their spicy bread sticks. Duck rotisserie was tender and tasty. We ordered sea-bass but didn’t expect it to be the whole fish. We was a bit struggling with picking the bones out but one of the servers come help us. We truly appreciated that. Service here is just outstanding!! The only thing I didn’t like is the chocolate tart because the crust part was too thick and the filling wasn’t sweet enough. The lime tart was delicious though.

One of our favourites! Miss the old location but how can you not love the new space! Expansive, high ceilings, huge open kitchen, cool space & lighting plans, and really pretty floor tiles and finishes! The food is still so so yummy, heart-warming and satisfying, and the staff is smiley and friendly, as always.. really glad Linh Cafe is doing well!

Great ambiance and delicious food. I wish I had got to try more, but of the frog legs, steak, and duck leg were all great. I wish they had a larger cocktail menu, but the space is great and a huge improvement over their original location.Absolutely recommend this place!

Linh cafe has always been my favorite restaurant in the Kits area and I’m so happy to see that they’ve grown bigger. The new space is beautiful and so well thought out. Super cute date spot or group hang out!The food is amazing as always. I usually get the pho and tarts. I also got the frog legs and escargot this time and they were super well done! I brought some friends from out of town around restaurants in Vancouver and they all said that Linh was their favorite from the whole trip of 10ish restaurants!

Stopped by for dinner with a friend - reservation highly recommended because it does get very busy. The restaurant is beautiful and the service was a little lack lustre. Hard to flag down the server at times, hard to get water refilled. The food itself was pretty good! Had the escargot ($18) and steak tartare ($22) but these two appetizers were a little underwhelming. My favorite was the foie gras parfait ($22). The homemade brioche was perfect with the creamy and rich foie gras. The steak frites ($59) was also a star. Absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection.

Went here for a friends birthday. We ordered a lot of food and it all didn’t disappoint. It was a busy Friday night so it came out a bit slow. We had the spicy baguette with pate, mussels, escargot, chicken liver, sablefish, duck, and steak with fries. The flavours were so rich and delicious we kept getting bread to soak up the sauces. We wanted to get the prime rib dish however our waitress told us it’s a 45 minute wait. I really wished she would’ve told us the second we started looking at the menu. There was a guy there that made the experience so enjoyable. He was friendly, joked with us, and even brought out a complimentary tart and cream puff for the birthday girl. Overall I loved the atmosphere and the food was amazing.

This restaurant is very spacious and decor looked great inside. The food was really good quality and would come back to try other items ! The dish I’d recommend the most are the frog legs. They were super juicy! One thing I would mention is the food comes out really fast. Would stagger the orders if not ready to have everything at once both appys and entrees.

Incredible food, lovely drinks and great service all in a really beautiful space. We were delighted to get a reservation here for Valentine's Day. Even on a night where you would expect it to be super busy, the service was still dialled in! All of the staff were super friendly and efficient, food came quickly and the whole dining area was nice and spacious. We never felt like we were too close to other guests or that it was ever too loud.Linh Café has done a really great job in every way, this is what hospitality is all about!

Absolutely must get their prawns and their bone in rib eye steak. Both were cooked perfectly. The steak was as good as dedicated steak restaurants. The prawns were sweet and plump and you get bread to dip all that garlic butter.
