Came here with some friends for brunch and had a lovely time! The decor is very cute, and the service and food were excellent. We tried several dishes including the spaghetti, the Tapsilog, and chicken and waffles. We also had the Ube latte hot and cold. I’d suggest getting it with some sugar to get more of the ube flavor. Because we came on Father’s Day weekend, they made cute little meringues which was a nice personal touch. The owner also came by to chat several times and was super friendly. Looking forward to coming back and trying more of their menu.

First time today at Liberte! What a delight! Highly recommended. Service was good and food were delicious and very good ambiance 👍

Glad I found this place. The ambiance is very comfortable here. There’s outdoor seating as well as roomy indoor booths. The washrooms and spaces are clean (very important). The food was good, as was the service. The coffee was excellent. Lots of Asian-type meats being offered - which my family always loves. Personally, I wish there were more vegetarian options on the menu. Otherwise, everything was great!

It was our first time here and we were just so excited to try everything on the menu. This place is truly a hidden gem in Vancouver. The ube waffle with mango ice cream was absolutely amazing and I can’t wait to try the other options soon.

Filipino inspired fusion cuisine tucked away right off boundary. Came here for brunch and was surprised by the variety on the menu. Wonderfully decorated, the ambiance was quaint and the service was friendly, food came out pretty quick as well.Beef silog 4/5Great flavour and the rice was seasoned well, docking off one point for the texture of the beef, a bit tougher than I would have liked but the eggs were yummy.Ube waffle 4.5/5I wished that I asked foe no chocolate chips on the waffles, that was my mistake. It took away from the ube flavour in my opinion. The fruits were a nice touchGet the ube latte, but iced if you like cold drinks, I highly recommend! The tiramisu espresso was way way too sweet.

Tried a new spot for brunch on Saturday. Liberte is located in a residential area, close to Joyce Skytrain. A Phillipino Restaurant, hidden gem! Place is bright, modern with tall ceiling. It is small so limited seating.Staff is very friendly but customer service is lacking. Staff, after you get your food, don't come by asking how the food is or if you needed any water or more coffee or whatever. We had to flag down a server for water and than the bill. For a small place that wasn't too busy, bit of a let down. But consistent with other people's grip as well. Only knock. Other than that food was great. presentation was excellent and lots of different options on the menu. We had the smoked salmon Bennie, meat lovers omlette I think was the name and burger. We'll definitely be back to try other items.Must try spot everyone!

Very nice place! Very modern! Unusual lighting and modern one of a kind wahrooms with glass doors?? you can see out but no one can see inside the bathroom. The food was excellent and they have a lot of garnish on all their food dishes. Some restaurants when you order eggs benny, you get eggs on a English muffin and some hash browns but at liberte they have very tasty small cubed potatoes plus salad and fruit. They also have a good array of desserts made on location. The menu has a good selection of phillipino food also. If you can't find a parking spot in front of the restaurant there are 4 parking spots underground on the left as soon as you enter the underground parking? The only gripe we had was when they brought our coffee they didn't bring any cream or sugar and our appetizer came after the main dishes. This was not the first time this happened everytime we have ordered coffee they never bring the cream and sugar or honey it's weird but the food is good and the place is very clean! They have been open since last summer. A must try ??When we show up now they make sure to bring the cream and sugar or honey! With our hot coffee! Don't forget to go between 8am and 10 am cause you get a free coffee! Like an Americano or latte etc with your breakfast order!??No restaurant in this city or anywhere that I can remember does that, a free special coffee?hello! Also the servers really make you feel at home and bend over backwards to make sure you are happy with your meal. Please try there eggs benny! one of the best I have ever tasted I'am hooked on them? Also try their burgers see picture with fancy shredded sweet potato fries at no extra charge, most places charge extra.White spot eat your heart out! A very tasty burger. Also their waffles are very good with ice cream on top like the pictureTrue phillipines hospitality from the owner. There pastry selection is also very good! It's very hard to not eat one.All in all a great place to eat and one of my favourites❤ ?

My friend introduced me to this place and I liked my experiences here so far. Price I find is a bit higher compared to other places but it's understandable given the ambiance of the place. It's practically a coffeeshop and a restaurant and you can tell by the split of the inside layout.Service is typically fast even if the place is busy.As for the food, presentation is top notch but I think they have not fully cracked the perfect taste just yet with the exception of the japanese steak meal which is extremely good.

Long wait times both before we were seated (not their fault) but also after due to slow service. We had to wait each time to order, get the servers attention, and for our actual food. The food was decent, but more for the cute looks and Instagram photos than the taste. The Ube latte is what you’d expect it to be like. UBE waffle was really good but they served it at the same time as our main dishes and we had to rush to eat it before the ice cream melts. The meat in the tapsilog was really hard to chew and not tender at all, and the ube turon was a nice novel dish to try but wasn’t too outstanding otherwise. The cafe items they sell (cream buns) looked better so maybe would come back for those, but not the restaurant experience

Liberte Cafe by Metrotown at 3670 Vanness Ave.Filipino fusion food. Not bad. Would go back to try their desserts and waffles. Their ube waffle is supposed to be a top seller. Bottomless pop is free with any of the meals. We had to wait quite long for our food despite going at 2pm but it was fresh. One plate had some very overcooked eggs so we asked them to replace it which they did so very willingly which I appreciate. Presentation was nice. The beef was a kinda dry/overcooked but I'm not sure if that Filipino style or not. The Longanisa sausage was tasty.Overall the flavors were quite good.Service was friendly. Ambience is also very nice. No plexiglass partitions between tables if that matters to you.
