Ordered from here a couple of times for takeout and it has been pretty good. Food is made quickly and the portions are quite large. Their grilled chicken in vermicelli is basic, but comes with a decent sized portion of chicken. We ordered a side of spring rolls and it was really good. It had plenty of filling and it was crisp and delicious. I tried out the assorted rice noodle soup (dry). Typically when I order this dish from other restaurants, it comes with soup on the side. However, theirs didn't. But the noodles had good flavour and there was plenty of it. There were pieces of fishcake, imitation crab, squid, prawns, and vietnamese ham. I wish there was other pieces of pork or a bit more seafood as there was too much noodle for the amount of topping. But it was still tasty. Overall, the food portions are good and it was a satisfying meal.
We ordered spring rolls for take out and found a toothpick buried deep in it. We couldn’t take a bite out of any of the food after because of how disgusted we were. This place have no regards for food safety. Based on low rated Google reviews, the place is notorious for having foreign objects in their food with reviews dated from to 3-4 years back. Consumers have either gotten sick, found hair or pieces of plastic on their food. The management just sweeps it aside. Also, if you check the records for Vancouver Health inspection, this place always has a critical violation on their routine checks, once they found 5.. Wish I’ve read the reviews before eating anything from this place * I had to rate it 2 star to be able to post the pic
Specially came here to write this review. We were in this restaurant with family today. To say it was perfect means to say nothing. Ordered 4 different meals and were satisfied for 200%. Everything tastes just perfect and looks so fresh. Portions are so big, that we asked containers to take it home. The restaurant is very clean.Special thanks to the owner who has recruited such a friendly staff. Smiling, gentle and friendly talking guys. Will go to Le Petit Saigon again and again. From now on this is the one of our favorite restaurants in Vancouver.
Good vietnamese restaurant and plenty of choices to choose from. In my perspective, its a comfort vietnamese restaurant and since i live close by, i will be coming back here again to try the other menu. Cheers! I hope this helps!
Ordered these items for delivery:Bun Bo Hue (beef stew with rice noodle)Spring rollLemon grass chicken salad rollFirst off, I have to say that everything I had ordered was delicious in their own way. The soup was nice a savory. The amount of the soup noodle incredible! Same size as if you were to be eating in the restaurant.(Some places give you way less ingredients during take out) but these guys give you the proper actual amount. My new favourite pho place!
I loved Chicken rice hotpot and spring rolls. Food was fresh and full of flavours. If you can’t decide what to order ask the friendly staff, they will definitely help you! Good service! Will come back soon…
First off I need to mention the decor. Not sure if it was leftover from a previous restaurant, but it is beautiful & I have to be honest, not what you would expect to see at a pho place. We ordered the following:2 Spring Rolls#23 Small w/Extra Beef Balls#36 w/Half NoodlesIced Coffe3 Colour Bean PuddingThe spring rolls we nice & crispy on the outside with great flavour on the inside. The #23 small seemed a little smaller than what you would normally expect, but they more than made up for it with the extra beef balls. That was the most beef ball pieces I have seen in a pho, they did not disappoint! The #36 was a Seafood Soup with Rice Noodles. I asked for 1/2 noodles & if that was their definition of 1/2 a full order would easily feed a family of 4 ?. The broth had a wonderful flavour & it had a decent amount of seafood in it.The Iced Coffee was great but a little too strong for me. If I drank the whole thing I would be vibrating out of there. My partner enjoyed it.The 3 Colour Bean Pudding was okay. I liked it because it wasn't too sweet, but I thought there was too many kidney beans in it. I finished it nonetheless.Service was adequate.Overall this is a nice little restaurant that I'd be happy to visit [email protected]
Always a good experiences, even in the current COVID times. Food came quick, hot and delicious. Pho was consistent and malleable on the teeth, and the broth was warm and fresh.Only real pointer is they don't do rare lean in the pho anymore by default.
pho was good. it would be good if they can give a different sprouts plate for each person automatically bc of covid. thanks
Good service, above average food, reasonable prices, and parking in the back, good place to go around east Van area. There were flies constantly around our food, wasn’t too impressed, otherwise, I would rate higher.
