My wife and I had a pretty damn great time.We tried many different items on the menu and overall the meal was great. There were items I didn’t enjoy, but I fell that’s personal taste and not the quality of the food. Everything seemed cooked well and the server Adrian was very kind and helpful.Going to have to come back and try this again as there’s more items on the menu to explore.Thanks again, Adrian!
First I must say that the service (albeit a little slow, they were full) was amazing.The food was pretty good, but there are much better Mexican restaurants in the area, and the city.The drinks were not good. Everyone at our table agreed, and there was a variety of drinks ordered. They are quite pricey for what you get when there are tons of great options in the area for food and drink.Cute restaurant, but I probably will not be coming back
One of my fav places in Vancouver!!! My boyfriend and I have been consistently coming back to this restaurant almost every day for 2 weeks so far!!! I’m actually not very familiar with Mexican cuisine and I am a very picky eater, but their food feels very soulful! Simple clean and good quality ingredients. Makes me want to cry !! EVERYTHING we’ve ordered so far has all been consistently great!! After one bite, you want one more bite…never get tired of any of their dishes!I love La Casita!!! It deserves to be heard and tried out by more people!
Not bad, definitely more filling than most of the other taco places in the area
We were in Vancouver for a few days and walking around Gas Town area and seen this place on the corner.....decided to give it a shot as we both enjoy Mexican. Nice atmosphere inside - typical Mexican decor and feel. Service was o.k. - very friendly.......... I tried one of the combo dishes - the food was very good for sure just not a whole lot or so I thought. It wasn't expensive ( I think $16.00 for the combo plate ) but just kind of not a whole lot of food and what was on there was refried beens, small sald, tortillas and a little chicken so wasn't an expensive plate for sure. Nonetheless, enjoyed the cold Mexican beer and some food. Probably not the best Mexican in town but if in the area give it a go for a change.
Randomly came here while walking around. Was fairly busy upstairs. The service was great and fast with friendly staff. It was taco Tuesday so i tried 4 different kinds... Delicious! Washed it down with a lime margarita.. would definatly recommend stopping here..
This is one of my favorite restaurants! The vibe of this place is fun and authentic, and the food is DELICIOUS! I am already planning my next visit back. The only downside is that drinks come very very slow (and we were ordering very simple drinks). Our initial drinks came just a few minutes before our food did…. It was a bit of a drag because we came here to start our night out. Hopefully it was just a one off.
Nobody bothered to greet me or come to my table to take my order (I figured I had to check the menu using the QR code). THEY DID NOT CHECK MY VACCINE PASSPORT EITHER. After about 10 minutes of sitting there I just left, and nobody even seem to notice. I did not have food, but seemed really pricey. Never coming back. There are so many other good Mexican restaurants there!

We had dinner at your restaurant tonight and while we have been a long term customer and always enjoy your food. However your restaurant is not following provincial health orders regarding space and mask use. We felt unsafe, tables are only 2 feet apart and it was packed and quickly ate our meal and left. I find this unacceptable and will be reporting this to the provincial health office as well as reviews on all social media. Read your reviews, others have noted this problem and you are putting $$$$ first instead of the safety of your employee’s and patrons. It’s a shame as we have been coming to your restaurant for over 20 years, but will not return again until your safety protocols improve.
