I'm very picky with Filipino restaurants because I know the taste I'm looking for. However, Kulinarya exceeds my expectation. I ordered Kare-Kare and Pork Sigsig with Halo-Halo on the side and eating here brings back nostalgia. It was as if I was swift away back home, in the Philippines. This restaurant is totally authentic and something I will go back to over and over whenever I feel homesick. Plus, presentation is exceptional and the staff are welcoming. Thank you! ❤️
Well never go to that place again. The cashier was very rude, we just came in and asked us in an insulting manner if we had a reservation or not. The place is empty, Will never go to that place again.
great food, great atmosphere and great staff
I went here with a friend on a Friday evening because we miss eating Filipino foods. This place reminded me of my childhood especially when I saw a picture of young kids on the wall and the old sewing machine. The food is just average (the rice isn't fully cooked). We loved the grilled bangus and tortang talong. We also ordered kare-kare and pinakbet. Kudos to our server. She's graceful and her smile was outright genuine. The owner was friendly and nice. This makes the restaurant special.
HONEST REVIEW ONLY ??It was a delicious experience. We had plans to visit here last year but never got around to it, wanted to try and visit a few months ago but the restrictions were placed so we were definitely left hanging.Me and my mother have not found any delicious filipino foods here in Vancouver besides a cooked meal at home. As a person (s) who grew up & lived in the Philippines a few times I can definitely say that this is what authenticity & fresh really tastes like. All dishes ordered were packed with flavour. From sweetness, tangy, smooth that had impeccable layers that delivered through out our mouths it was just sky rocketing. The dishes were definitely a home run.The space is super cute and cozy. Servers were lovely. They were on time. It was a bit busy when we arrived, we waited a solid 30 mins and by that time we were ferociously starving ?.It was definitely luck that we visited this restaurant. Also the prices was very very reasonable. We ordered roughly 5 dishes including the rice (s) and spent less than $90 & we were stuffed. This is now our go to filipino restaurant.Just watch out we are going to be your regular customers. Teehee!!
Great food! Pork blood soup really was good. I highly recommend this restaurant! Such great service! We did family style and ordered a bunch of dishes and shared it all. Great place for groups
Okay first off, taste is above average. I won't complaint, even my friend said he didn't like the curry cuz it's too sweet. The presentations of the drinks and dishes are good. Taco is not bad. Curry I like. Taro Brownie might be a bit sweet depends on the person. Their famous Taro ice cream dessert is not bad. The price is not cheap as we ended up paying $100 for two people for only two dishes, drinks and desserts. But the main thing I hate was they were cleaning the tables next to our tables with BLEACH! Not once but 3 times! I know it's closing time but we are still eating! Can't they just wait? I mean it takes 30 sec to clean a table. Wait for your customers to leave before you clean them with BLEACH! The smell was so strong I couldn't continue eating. I don't think I will go back because of this.
The set up boodle fight was awesome! Food tasted great. The staff was so accommodating and friendly!
My second time here and really love this space. Portions are super generous, a great place to try yummy foods with a group of friends. Halo Halo is a must, can’t wait to have it in hot weather again. The Fresh Lumpia was surprisingly tasty. Warm family style service, please don’t change
Good food ? Service with a smile?
