The food was delicious, we especially enjoyed the skewer options they had. Since it was our first time ordering, we recieved great recommendations from Coco (I believe she was one of the owners). She was super helpful in explaining the menu to us. Will definitely come back again for more skewers!
The servers were caring and friendly. Everyone that often goes to happy tree should give them a try. All the dishes we ordered were tasty, well marinated, good portion and very reasonable price! We order 6 dishes plus a pitcher of beer for two ppl and at the end we still had a portion take home. Overall, satisfied and recommended!
Very good frog on skewer. I was a little reluctant when my partner suggested to order frog. But when I ate it, I was surprised it doesn't make you feel that is frog. I liked lamb skewer too. It was perfectly cooked to keep tender and juicy. Unfortunately mouth water chicken was not superior to other places.They have English menu but the server cannot speak English much. But they are nice and willing to help!
Really good BBQ. I love the fish, the BBQ fish is a tradition dish in China. I love this dish, because they first Grill over the fire then put in a pan with all other ingredients that you can request. Slowly pan heated over fire on your table, it's delicious. And their other BBQ are really good as well, especially they got deep fry chicken skin. A must try for all BBQ lovers.
Great price for 2 pounds of crayfish, the crayfish buns were so worth it! I ate it before I was able to take photos! We also ordered lamb skewers and Korean pork skewers they were delicious too!
Why 2 stars? I'm being realistic here. Service by the 2 staffs was abysmal. Took us 25mins to get our orders in! Arrived at 4.50pm today and got our table served at 5.35pm!!! Skewers were good, but small portion for $1.49 each....minimum order of 6 skewers for every kind! That's $9 for ONE of each kind of meat or vegetables skewers. Both service staffs were pathetic. I thought I was attending a funeral dinner.Never ever coming back. We spent $65 and could have eaten at much better places and feeling like we ate well.
Noodles in the spicy and sour noodles were chewy and delicious. pineapple chicken skewers had refreshing sweet taste
Best Chinese barbecue!!! OMG!!! The owner is so kind to accommodate for one person and let me try so many different things. Good variety, good flavor, what a treat in a winter day!
Ok, the good about this place is that the food is pretty tasty. Although after awhile, all of the skewers start to taste the same.Our biggest issue with this place is we had a lot of trouble ordering food here. We used their ordering system and our order was never placed even though we were charged on our credit card. We had to call them up so they could find our order.My fave dish was the ribs but they were on the sweet side due to the sauce. Eggplant was tender. Enoki mushrooms would have been better if they were hot but, for some reason, they were cold when we got them.The beef and fish tofu skewers were good. Pork skewers were a bit tougher. Deep fried buns with condensed milk rounded out our meal.Might be better if you dine in person instead of take out. Either that or call in your order instead. Servers seemed to try to please.
The staff is nice but it took tooo long to get the food, we waited for an hour for the main dish to come, and we have to ask several times for the water. Can’t believe they only have one front staff at Saturday.
