Oh man! It was so bad that we wanted to just cross the street and get Saku. Their katsu wasn't the Japanese type, it was Korean marinade and style. The cheese crabmeat croquette was 'Ok' as long as they put the 'sauce' on the side. The cheese katsu was big, bigger than Saku and other katsu places we've been so that's a good one to order. The chicken karaage was bland, you need to order their sauces unfortunately. I had the Japanese katsu - it was bland, it really need a dipping sauce and the katsu sauce wasn't the right one too. Never again.

Been there around 10PM today, store nearly closing and not too busy yet not so dead.Served by Hyojin and Donna were both of them are fantastically delivering positive attitude and top notch customer service!Foods are amazing with huge portion for one person, worth the money.Little secret : you can refill your soup and cabbage many times! And they also offer 1 time refilling rice, however, i dont think it necessary since you will have enough food on your plate!

I got the Terri Mayo Katsu, and its initial presentation wow'ed me the most, specifically the various sauces and bonito flakes on top of the katsu. The staff checked in on us multiple times, and the free extra miso soup, cabbage, and one rice refill were a nice bonus. Taste-wise it wasn't out of this world, but the dining experience was very pleasant. Would recommend!

I ordered Japanese pork loin katsu…..sorry to say but it was awful and weird taste sauce came with it. It’s definitely not a Japanese style sauce… and pickles…. I know they have to cut an extra cost but very disappointed pickles…

Dine here if you want The Best Food Coma of your life!Unlimited Miso Soup, Unlimited Salad and 1 Free Additional Rice Bowl with your Korean KatsuService was very good! 5 Stars!

Amazing and delicious! The miso soup to start is inviting. We got the takoyaki and it was so crunchy and great portions! The cheese katsu was fun to prepare my own sesame seeds for the sauce and the portions are so filling for the price.

The portions are quite huge, but the meals are delicious. We tried the takoyaki, it was very crunchy on the outside and melting on the inside. We tried the fish katsu, the cheese carbonara and the pork katsu. Everything was tasty and crunchy.

Due to Air Canada's incompetence, I had to spend the night in Vancouver City and went to the cheapest hotel in town.Got hungry later, and walked a block down the hill to this place and went in having no idea what it was.Ordered the cheese stuffed pork loin Katsu, and it was gloriously delicious. Very crisp and fresh, presented well, and filling! If you're in the area and have a tickle for the Japanese, you best try this place out.Went back to my room after, satisfied with a full stomach, and proceeded to complete the Japanese experience with a 6 pack of Asahi and a few Anime episodes.

We ordered the Japanese pork loin katsu which was very disappointing; the meat was thin and dry. The fish curry katsu was not as good as we hoped for as the curry tasted like packaged curry which we all could make, though the texture of the fish was excellent. However, it was obvious that the proteins were not fresh. Also, the rice was soaking wet like I couldn’t even consume it; as an Asian who dined in an Asian restaurant, I took that as an insult. The honey butter powder fries were decent but still didn’t match the bar because the fries were not crispy. It’s a Korean-Japanese fusion but they didn’t cooperate properly. Perhaps we might come back and try their “Korean version of katsu” later. All in all, I wouldn’t recommend this place for traditional katsu lover.
