We tried the fish pakora and chicken biryani also mutton biryani, I would say taste is pretty average nothing great . Highly disappointed with the quantity of biryani , I would rather spend $3 extra and go Indian bay leaf . The quantity literally looked like single person serving. The only good thing was the green chutney that came with pakoras. ??
Wanted to try some authentic pakistani food so visited them last week. Ordered chicken karahi, bbq and biryani. Firstly, the restaurant wasn’t clean at all. There were flies all over the place. All the tables were dirty. Secondly, their customer service sucks. Nobody came to took our order for at least 10mins. Thirdly, food which was supposed to be the showstopper was turned into a big disappointment. Karahi was okayish but biryani was lacking flavours. Chicken was fresh though. Fourth, the guy on the counter tried to overcharge me for the food which I didn’t even order. So, the whole experiment of trying pakistani food wasn’t upto expextation. Lahori restaurant in surrey is so much better.
The quality and taste of their Chicken and Mutton is authentic and different. I would highly recommend those who really want to taste the best chicken in town. Specially their Balti chicken, Handi Chicken and Biryani’s.The species combination is lit ?
One of the worst experiences of a restaurant in Canada till now. For dinner on Sunday night, we were made to stand for 30 mins clueless even though the tables were vacant and it took forever to clean.
The food was really good! It was my first time trying Pakistani food. I don't know if it has authentic flavors but, as a spicy food lover, i was pleased. However, the service was terrible. One of the worst I have ever experienced. It took 40 min to get our food. once we did get it, there were no plates and cutlery in site. Requested the waiters multiple times for it before getting them 15 min later. By that time the food had already gone cold. The waiter completely forgot about our drinks and after requesting for it multiple times. We got it towards the end of the meal. Same happened with the extra naan we ordered. I would recommend ordering online but never dining here. Its a shame the service does not live up to the food.
We had a good experience at Karakorum restaurant. Appreciate that it was open so late. Have to give the biggest shout out to Raghini (I hope that is her name) she was working by herself managing multiple tables by herself and gave great customer service, to the ownership please don't over work your staff like this, and give give Raghani a raise! The food was alright, the daal and Palak paneer ended up being better than the karhai, also a bit more expensive than anticipated. Giving 4 stars because of Raghini.
This is the first time I been to this place as my friend recommended to bring biriyani from here I got two and they are not even half full .. my friend told me it use to be full usual and now they changed the quality.. the employee in the store told me it will take 20 min for takeout and I had to wait 30 min to go and see and the package was there for long and they didn’t let me know until I came and asked … the biriyani is good I would not prefer to go to this place again
I ordered grilled lamd chops and fish pakora. Both were quite salty. Lamb is flavourful but still VERY rare. Couldnt see the pinkness in meat but the texture was like extremely raw like. The seasonings masked the pink appearance of the meat. Texture of fish pakora was reasonable. But over seasoned with salt.
A very nice cozy restaurant located at a corner of bustling street of Vancouver. Attended a fundraising lunch event. Delicious food. Parking at the back. A family place. serving Halal.
