Top quality food, polite service as always. This place is a favourite, and we drive out from Richmond to come here. The three cup chicken is a must (I have tried many in this area and so far, they make the best three cup chicken in all Vancouver). They also make a mean spring onion pancake that would pair really well with just about anything. They also make their own wontons, gyozas and baos that you can can buy frozen to eat at home.

Worst Taiwanese restaurant in town, service, quality of food!!! The waitress/boss tried rush us from the beginning of ordering to finish, didn't allow us ordering the 3 spice chicken saying it takes too long to make, then gave our salt & pepper chicken to someone else. When we reminded the waitress, she said it would take too long to make. Before we even finish, the boss already put the bill on the table. They only take cash. Will never go back again.

My gf always makes me try food from her home country Taiwan, and Kalvin is definitely one of the favorite ones!Food is delicious and staff is helpful.I wish the price was more reasonable and that they accepted other payments besides cash

This place is one of my wife's childhood favorites, and we would usually grab something on the way back if we were to pass by the place on our way home. One downside is they only accept cash, no credit, no debt, nothing else, just cash.

A hole in the wall restaurant with great flavours. Dishes were a little small for the price though. Helps to have someone who can read Chinese since there are specials on the wall!

I don’t know if they just have bad math or they did it on purpose. Cash only no big deal. My take-out order was around $90 and so I paid $100 and of course expecting change. The owner lady took the money and that’s it. She didn’t look like she’s giving me back the rest. I waited a bit but she’s still not giving me the change. I then asked, and she started to apologize saying she forgot (seriously though, you just took it and it’s right in front of you). At first I thought maybe she really just forgot, but apparently it happened fairly often as other commenters had reviewed previously. You can’t just take the change yourself as if it’s the tips. Not an honest business behaviour.

Probably the best Taiwanese food in town! So yummy ?

My son's boss had taken his him here as he's being coming here for years. We went with friends. Small restaurant, not fancy, decor is not much. Good service. We ordered the 3 cup chicken which was delicious. The beef we ordered was just as good. Ordered a rice noodle dish as I craved noodles. Next time will stick with pot of rice to go with dishes. They specialize in meat, seafood dishes. We had the fried bread which is a little sweet but very good. Not a fan of prawns but tasted one, was good. My son & friend polished them off. Prices were reasonable. It was a Sun night and place was full and a constant stream of take out orders. Highly recommend this place.

Been there since 1998.Excellent Taiwanese and Taiwanese style Schezwen food. The owner is really friendly and would sit down and chat with you no matter where your background is. Now I only wish the owner doesn't retire because still can't find the any Taiwanese food as authentic as his.

Food and service is top notch for this small establishment.
