This is a great family owned and operated restaurant with food that is super comforting and delicious. Simple dishes that are executed perfectly and you can taste the love and care of into each dish.

My wife and I had a great experience eating here today. The staff was very friendly and the service was excellent. I was born in the northeast region of China and the food here is very authentic. Especially the pork and chive dumplings. It reminded me of how my family back home was in China would make it. The dumpling sauce (which is a blend of soy sauce and vinegar) from this dish reminds me of the same sauce my family uses when we eat dumplings at large family gatherings. For a moment, I felt like I was back home with my family. Highly recommend the dumplings and xian cold noodle dish here.

An absolute delight eating here. Real, authentic Chinese Xi'an food, reasonably priced. Ask the server what their specialties are, you can't go wrong. Can't wait to come back here again.

I have eaten at other northern Chinese noodle places before and sometimes the flavours of the various dishes tend to blend e.g. everything tastes of cumin. But here all the dishes are deeply spiced, but retain their distinct taste profiles. Particularly liked the pork bun and spinach noodles and pork. Dumplings in hot and sour soup also woke up my palate. Very friendly staff.

From the moment you walk in, you know it's gonna be good. Small restaurant owned by family people. The food was amazing!!! Spicy and flavourful.Noodles very chewy, and so delicious. The owner is very nice and keeps filling my hot tea. This place is so good that after we went in, another group came in as well but it was already packed.Highly recommend to make a reservation. I was lucky to get a table without.definitely coming back again!

Had the Chili oil chicken and hand pulled noodles. Overall a bit overpriced, but authentic flavours. Nothing too outstanding but a good change from the usual Chinese food.Staff was very nice!

A northern chinese cuisine indeed. We got the pan fried dumpling, the pork burger and the spinach handmade biang biang noodle with pork chilli oil tomato and egg. They were all trully amazing and it reminded me of my heritage food. The handmade biang biang noodle is the star of the night and got super melting in my mouth and super recommended to get. This is a recommended chinese restaurant to go! Cheers! I hope thid feedback helps!

The cumin lamb burger was delicious! Loved the noodles as well altho it was a tad bit on the oily side. Flavor was great tho. Wish there were a few more pieces of beef as they were delicious! Hasn't had the cucumber dish in awhile and Joojak did not disappoint!I can't really handle spice and they were able to accommodate while still ensuring everything is tasty.Got take out and was happy everything was still hot by the time I got home ?

Amazing Xian noodles. I am in love ?I had their Lamb cumin bun. It was not gamey, but perfectly seasoned with a touch of spicy & cumin. Bun is crispy on the outside, yet soft on the inside. The spinach hand pulled noodles with chili oil & pork was also delicious! The noodle is nice and chewy.I will come back again soon to try other dishes.

Must go local restaurant - the owner was so passionate explaining the menu and the dumplings were homemade and delicious.Me and 2 friends ordered - the hand pulled spinach noodles, cold noodles (sesame), chicken in spicy oil, and dumplings! All SO GREAT.Thank you for introducing me to Xian food!!
