Five stars for baristas. One star for business owner for being too cheap to hire more workers. Two baristas were overworked.
JJ bean has a lot of stores around BC. Itusually has a long line with people buying coffee and baked gooods. What did I get?⭐️Cold brew⭐️Chocolate zucchini muffin⭐️Chocolate croissantEverything is very fresh. The muffin is gigantic (swipe to see). It’s even larger than my hand!! And it tastes absolutely delicious. The zucchini crunch adds texture and blends really well with the chocolate ( you don’t taste the zucchini). No wonder it’s one of the poplar muffins in the shop.Chocolate croissant is very fresh and crunchy. It has a decent chocolate filling that we adore.Cold brew is decent. I like the flavour. I’m down to try other coffee there. I also love that I can use reusable cup there.
I have been to this coffee place on campus several times. Their jumbo muffins, crossaints taste yummy. The mocha and cappuccino also have a nice and smooth taste. I love the ambience and seating of this place, especially the seating area upstairs.
Great treats and wraps. Seems like the cold brew is just coming out of the cartons you can buy. Maybe not enough people are getting cold brew to justify making it in house?

I like the coffee here but it really annoys me that they keep closing early whenever it suits them. Today is the third time I’m trying to pickup coffee for the morning and they are closed an hour earlier than advertised. Please don’t publish opening hours unless you are going to honour them.
¢50 for a plastic cup, yeah no thanks. What a RIP off! 25 cents is the norm and I expected to be charged for that amount, but when the barista told me that there was a 50 cent charge for a plastic cup, I was furious! 50 cents is just simply outrageous and ridiculous. These guys must get the plastic cups for less than 5 cents.
Great ambiance, lots of natural light and ample seating. They usually have 50% off muffins at the end of the day. I really enjoyed their Almond Croissant and their Spinach and Feta Breakfast Sandwich - it was well toasted and the bread was really fresh; the cheese was also nicely melted and the tomato went really well with it. Their chai latte was very good, though it could use a little more flavour, it was sufficiently sweet. The Golden Tumeric Latte was quite interesting. Sure it's made with tumeric and milk, but it could use a little more flavour (perhaps another herb and/or some sugar). In any case, it was an interesting concept, that could be further improved.
Easy to get parking , chill spot upstairs for a hot coco and meeting, deep chairs.
great place fir a meeting, upstairs is quiet and little booth to discuss files
