Not sure where the 5 stars came from.The only good. No wait . I dislike waitingThe service was slow ( waited over 1/2 for 2 dishes) portions just ok, and slightly overpriced and the food isn’t anything special that I would want to pay extra .Over all the experience was alright but the restaurant ambience was comfortable, nicely renovated and partition separating tables was appreciated.
Update: first time having dinner there ....hot and sour soup was amazing!!! Plus salted diced chicken fried rice (u need to like salted fish to appreciate this) had lots of salted fish which was rare. Ginger beef was good but not what I typically like. The steam vegetable roll was oversteamed...a bit soggy. Portion was good and I enjoyed the food and being able to eat good Chinese food in Chinatown.Some things were good like Siu mai (pork dumplings) but some things were so so like the rice wrapped in lotus leaves were still cold. Service was good.
Really enjoyed dim sum. Not too heavy to enjoy, 3-4 dishes are enough for 2 people. Dim sums are available after lunch rush. They keep try to communicate with me in their home language unfortunately I’m no linguistic.They don’t accept credit so make sure to bring your debit or cash.
The staff were very helpful and friendly. The food was flavourful and tasty. The food was served at different times but we ordered quite a bit of food so that didn't bother us. We were pleasantly surprised by the price. Overall a nice dining experience.
This is a hit or miss in my opinion. Some dishes like the sesame balls and noodles were really good whereas the veggie dumpling and veg spring rolls were absolutely bad. The ambience is nice for a casual hangout and the servers are friendly. Give it a try for sure!
All day dim sum, menu has pictures for almost all the items. Food is above average, service is also above averages (Chinese restaurants standard). If you are in Vancouver China town, this is a good place to start if you are new to dim sum.
Oh my gosh, what a hidden Gem! We got Dim Sum from here this morning and oh boy was it good! Quick service, nice server, delicious food! I would eat here again, 100%
Authentic Cantonese dim sum, the owner is from Guangzhou. Dim sum is made by order , delicious and fresh .Totally is not frozen dim sum produced in the assembly line of the USA. You wont disappointed.
Visited Jade Dynasty for the first time for dim sum. This a great Cantonese restaurant offering a wide selection of fresh, homemade dim sum items in Chinatown. The staff are friendly and the service is excellent. I'd recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for good Cantonese food in Chinatown and for those interested in supporting local Chinatown businesses.
I love this place! The food is outstanding. I always order too much as it’s too hard to decide. Spicy deep fried tofu is the ultimate. I can’t do without the hot and sour soup. Shanghai noodles are my favorite but I do love the E-Fu noodles and the soy sauce stir fry. Really always love this place
