Awesome place! Brought some friends here and they loved it - the theme, the music, the space. Restaurant staff were attentive and checked in with us often. The “Coop of the Damned” appetizer plate had very delicious BBQ items and the Nachos had an excellent mix of cheese on different layers (not just the top). There’s street parking right out front at a reasonable rate (a buck an hour). Definitely recommended and will visit again.
This is one of the best bars in Vancouver, even if you’re just in town visiting for a bit it’s worth checking out, but if you love heavy metal and a good drink you’ll feel like this place is your home away from home.
Horrible experience. Showed up and tipped them generously because I wanted to support the new owners. Out of nowhere, I was rushed and escorted out by the back of the neck with no explanation, for no reason. Couldnt even grab my takeout. Did NOT deserve to be humiliated that way. Trusted them to create safe space for women. Treatment was garbage. Staff and owners are trash. The neighbourhood deserves better.
Everyone that works here is AMAZING! They take care of everyone so well and it feels like being part of an unofficial club. Everyone should check this place out! Tip accordingly. These people rule!
Been going here for ages! Love the vibe, music, the people and the beer selection. But really miss the vegan/veggie food options! Used to have great brunch and the best jackfruit sandwich in town, now it’s mostly all meat. Other than the lack of veggie options (which I realize is personal preference) it’s one of the best bars in town!
New to the neighbourhood, my bf and I stopped by for a drink after a disappointing dinner at Tacofino down the street. We were checked in right away and grabbed ourselves a table. Service was prompt and friendly. We ordered a beer and a wine and then we ordered one pickle back and one beef back (rye with a chaser of beef jus- it's actually amazing). I asked for two extra shot glasses so we could each have some pickle and some jus, but the server just brought out two chasers of each instead, which was lovely! The vibe here is chill and unpretentious. Prices are very decent as well, $26 for four drinks. We had the opportunity to meet two of the women that own the place, Courtney and Jess, and they were both awesome! This is definitely our new local and I honestly can't wait to go back and have another beef back!
Parking is a little sketch. Once at the door they took their sweet time to come check my vaccine passport. I'm visiting from the states and they would not accept my ArriveCan QR code I received at customs or a photo of my American vaccine card. I understand rules need to be followed but this is the only restaurant in Vancouver to not accept my proof of vacation. Even customs accepted my photo copy. To make things worst they were pretty rude about it despite my patience. Huge buzz kill.
Best place for rock and metal lovers. Amazing food, great beers and warmly kind bartenders. Highly recommended!!
Advertised as a dive bar, delivers on every aspect except the service, bar choices and FOOD are exceptional. Truly
One of the best and most unique places in Vancouver. Great Heavy Metal bar. The Beef Backs are TO DIE FOR and I did try their Beef Brisket which had a side of the best Mashed Potatoes I have ever had. Highly recommended spot if in the area.
