Sadly they are closing on July 23rd and taking early retirement since they couldn’t come to terms on a lease with the landlord(my guess is the landlord wants to sell the land). I’ve been coming here for over a decade for their spicy beef noodle soup and I’ve always loved it. My friend brought me here and initially I couldn’t take the spice but my tolerance has come a long way since then (team spicy all the way). I will miss this place and it was nice to see their kids grow up over these years.

The Huang's Beef Noodle Restaurant has been on Victoria Drive for as long I can remember, and quite frankly, the decor is from another era. However, if you have a craving for some really delicious noodle soup and few other traditional Taiwanese dishes, Huang's will not disappoint. Nothing fancy, nor expect good service, but the food is always very good and comforting.

Good yes noodle beef yum ear pig nuggets fried deep again eat. Good food for stroke recovery.

Friendly staff. Tasty hot food. Small business. Support local!

Great food, fresh and delicious. The restaurant is small, about 6 tables and quite basic. The service was good, we showed our vaccination info. We were the only customers initially, after a few minutes families arrived and the restaurant was full. We were the only non-Asian customers, a good sign.

Good little local Taiwanese restaurant.

This place was recommended to me from two of my colleagues. I tried the Taiwanese popcorn chicken with noodle in soup and it was delicious! The seasoning for the popcorn chicken was perfect and good portion size. I ordered the non spicy noodle in soup and even though it was non spicy, it still had a really nice kick to it. I would just recommend that if visiting Huang's Beef Noodle Restaurant, be wary of limited dine in sitting (approx. 3 tables) as it is a small shop, but take out and delivery is available as well. I would definitely come back here again :)

Stoked. I love the deep rich beef flavour of Taiwanese style beef soup and being a white bro I have no clue where to go. This place is close to me and I will be a regular customer. It makes me happy to hear it's a long time family business as well. I had the large spicy beef noodle soup and popcorn chicken. Good noodles, good beef, good soup, good popcorn chicken.

I was searching for XLB in my area, and as Huang’s is within walking distance, I decided to try them for lunch.11:56am - I go to their website and select what I want to order for pickup. Can’t checkout because they don’t open until noon. Okay.12:04pm - online order checkout still not working.12:12pm - online order checkout still not working.12:17pm - I try to call 4 times and the call fails each time.12:19pm - I find them on Uber Eats and place a pickup order. So after all that, I bring the XLB and some popcorn chicken home, and get my chopsticks and spoon (prepping for the soup!) and open the container, so excited. But then:1. All of the XLB have been placed solo, not on a parchment paper or something to steady them in the plastic container.2. All of the XLB are broken and they’re empty of ‘soup’ (the amount I was expecting at the bottom of the container is not even there)3. In the last XLB (I had to eat them no matter how disappointed, I paid money for them) I chewed what tasted like sand. After I spit it out, I found what looks like tiny bone shard. (In the last picture)I was so so looking forward to delicious XLB, but I am so so disappointed that I pushed to order from Huang’s even though I couldn’t reach them. I should have just gone somewhere else.I don’t even want to try the popcorn chicken.

This restaurant has been here for over 20 years. It's a small business with a simple menu headlined by beef noodle soup, and also has some Taiwanese favourites. They offer pretty good beef noodles - no worse than the bigger chains or shops in Vancouver. It is pretty small inside, so keep that in mind. Also, on a bright day, it may appear dark inside (ie. Looks closed), but you need to take a closer look to make sure. I recommend trying it out.
