Had the first real weekend with sun and went to Parq because they have a big patio and they are easy to book on OpenTable app.The patios is spacious and it was covered by a tent so very cool and comfortable. The service was excellent, my girlfriend and I shared a buratta platter and the Korean chicken bites, the server brought share plates and a set of tongs so we could move things around easy.We had a couple glasses of the mission hill Pinos grisio which was delicious and cold.We took our time and then shared the backyard burger which was cooked perfectly and tasted great with truffle parmesan fries. We shared the burger and the kitchen split it in half for us and plated it. Good initiative by the server and kitchen. There is a casino in the hotel where the restaurant is so you can make a good evening out of coming here.Price is $$ to $$$. Service is 5/5. Food 5/5 for what we had.

Although slightly pricey, it’s more than worth it!! All the plates we had were great! Specially the Chinook Chowder

We came for a birthday reservation, which the server knew, and it was like we were forgotten. It took us almost an hour to get our drinks. We had another event to go to after our brunch so we made it known that we had to leave soon, so we even contemplated not getting food because everything was taking so long. We asked the server how long food would take because we needed to go, she said 20 minutes. We asked for our bills so we could pay as soon as possible so we could leave right away after eating. It took more than 45 mins to get our food and during this time we asked 4 times if we could pay our bills while waiting for the food so we could just eat when the food got there. The server also served cold coffee, apologized and said she would return with a new batch but never did. It is completely understandable when things are busy and things get hectic, but she did not apologize for the wait or seem to care that she had taken an hour to get our orders, and when we inquired about a birthday treat that the kind hostess let us know about, she was so loud saying they wouldn't have time unless they did it now (before our food) that the birthday girl could hear. Our experience was very uncomfortable and it honestly felt like we had to put so much effort in to be heard. We had to wait so long to put our orders in when we were ready right away to make it easier. Food was good, but service just does not make me want to come back. The server seemed to not care about our experience. Otherwise, the staff and hostess were kind and helpful but they were not available to help us.

They had me at the seafood chowder soup. Wow the dill knocked the flavor out of the park. The decor is light and very pleasant . Also the risotto with mushrooms was very tasty with a nice texture. Second time now and looking forward to returning.

The restaurant is quite nice inside with a great atmosphere. Everyone really enjoyed their brunch meals as well. Losing a star because our server would just completely disappear. Took more than 30 minutes to come back with things... I'm assuming they're short staffed & trying to be understanding but it was a bit frustrating. Would still go back.

Finally had the chance to visit Honey Salt. Wasnt the best. Wasn't the worst. A good meal with the added benefit of live music. Burrata salad was a tad bland. Burger was delicious. Fish and chips - okay. A lot of food so you won't leave hungry. The biscuits and butter were legit. A good order if you're in a group. Pro-tip: try the loaded potato's.

Brunch spot at the Parq Hotel. We had the New Brunswick Lobster Galette and the Crab Eggs Benedict and while both were prepared well, I really liked the Lobster Galette.Service is nice (not surprising as it is in a hotel) and the ambiance is also very welcoming and spacious. We went there on Boxing Day and were glad that they were open then!

The menu is fairly routine for a new Canadian eatery. The restaurant is located inside the Parq hotel and with a canucks game evening, the lobby was a zoo. That said the service was very courteous and all of the food tasted alright, if not amazing. Overall an enjoyable family experience (we well felt very comfortable with 3 little kids in the party). Oh yeah - dining guests pay overnight hotel parking rates even if you park for an hour, not fun and you’ve been warned.

A much higher standard would be expected if they are charging $18 for "small plates". We were sat at a table with food crumbs on the couch and the plates were not clean but they weren't the biggest issue. We ordered calamari and shrimp, it tastes like their oil hasn't been changed for days, same taste as those 2 for $5 chicken balls, on top of that there were bits of dried fries. Clearly, they didn't even bother scoop up the food before frying new food. As well as many batter that didn't have any meat in it.

The brunch there last week was amazing! I had avocado toast and market veggies with dips. The avocado toast was as tasty as it looked and the variety in the market veggie platter was really good - it had fresh, roasted and pickled veggies. It came with hummus and red pepper dip as well which were really tasty and paired really well with the veggie selection. I believe their sweet potato chips were made in house, it was to die for. I’m coming back for more soon.
