As an appetizer we ordered, Fried calamari and hummus. The hamburger and the salmon was very good
We enjoyed the food but the noise level was extremely distracting. In addition to one child running around and being chased by 2 adult males, another child kept throwing silverware on the floor. I also think that the noise level is caused in part to the restaurant being open to the stairs and the doors at the downstairs concierge's desk being open. When spending $30 on each entrée we expected a much better ambience.
We decided to have dinner here before seeing Hamilton at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre. It was nice and close and the food was so delicious! Our teenage daughters loved the steak, and couldn't stop talking about it.
The salmon was really good, and the squid ink sauce was very mild and tasty

Reservation made for 7:30 told that no reservation received. Showed the hostess our confirmation , she then asked us for few minutes to get a table cleaned for us. Not very please about it.

There were problems in the kitchen apparently but the food was below what we expected and the service was appalling. Serving staff seemed disorganized. Requests for more water went unnoticed three times, orders did not arrive at the same time (one guest was finishing when other guest got their meal delivered). We were at table 10 and our waiter seemed to be incompetent- ignored us for most of the time we were there. We have eaten there several times and always loved it but we were disappointed. This is the first time we have eaten out since COVID and were looking forward to it. We will not be returning anytime soon.
We made a reservation for 6:15pm as we wanted to try out this restaurant. Our table was not ready and it was pretty much a gong show from there. It took quite a while of our server to come by. We ordered drinks and he got mine wrong twice and then came back and told me they were out of what I ordered. One of the drinks came half full as we are sure it got sloshed around on the trip from the bar to our table. No water refills for the first hour. The food, after an 1:15 minute wait was good... nothing special. I know they were short staffed and they did give us 30% off our bill which was awesome. But... I think that's a one and only for Hendricks.
