Everything was great ? I got the plum juice and it was a perfect match with the rest of my meal ? ? the fish ball hot pot was very good and the lamb skewers were delicious! HGreat meal! We ordered too much beer ? ?????

It is a Young night Owls paradise to hang out , they have two location , one in Richmond and one in Vancouver they both open late , special Vancouver close at 2.30am ! have not been out with the family for diner for a while , my brother want to try it out , lot of parking in the strip mall also on the street , very large dinning room , very bright , the wooden tablets and chairs not very comfortable , also so noisy with the music , T.V and lot of young hip crowd talking so loud , we all agree it is not a place for retired teenage to come enjoy relax dinner , it is like a Night Market in a restaurant ! sorry to say , we are no longer part of the hip crowd , but nice to try it out for the first time , their concept is " Northern Chinese Street Food " but lot different them Hong Kong Street food , their signature dishes is Skewers , varieties of meat , like beef , lamb , pork ,chicken and many many more super mediocre , very thin size of meat on the skewer , lot of MSG , spices , and salty , my poor lamb and beef so dry like pieces of rubber , surprisingly the seafood dishes very tasty and flavourful , like the Fish ball , prawns , squid , 100% not for people looking for a quiet relaxing dinner , it is night owls hang out , so be careful when you ordering , price are cheap , but can add up fast , for two person you looking around $100 to $150 for street food , service average , for sure we are not coming back if they pay us , once is enough !

My taste buds long for these! We came here on the recommendation of a few friends and they nailed it. Meat on skewers, beers, seafood, and some carbs. Yes, yes, and more yes. Although everything I ate was fantastic, my favorite would have to be the chicken skin. Crispy and their dry rub goes nicely together. Overall the food comes fairly quickly if you're super hungry. It's also clean, and bright. Will definitely be back over and over again.

Took 2 of my 3 sons out for dinner while my wife was away. Decided to try Happy Tree for the barbecue skewers and fried ice cream.First, restaurant was bright, clean and open. Loved the wooden tables and seats.Staff, they were all very friendly and helped with our order and ensuring we had everything we needed to enjoy our dinner. If I could rate higher than 6 stars I would. We ordered too many skewers but tried their lamb original and lamb special, Angus beef, chicken and pork skewers. We also tried the squid, tiger prawn (they were huge), mung bean pasta and cold cucumber. All the food were delicious and had right amount of heat, not over powering. We ended our dinner with fried ice cream. They're similar to cream puffs but tastier. You get 10 in an order or 12. I forget because we finished it before I could take a picture.I'd highly recommend trying Happy Tree House. We'll definitely be back.

Best BBQ place in Vancouver and Toronto must try !!!!! They BBQ not deep fry. Some store said they are serve BBQ BUTend up the deep fry first! This place is amazing

probs one of the best ??? I've had in BC! 羊肉串This location of chain stores is probs one of my favourite go-to place for Chinese Skewers. I grew up on authentic Uyghur style Lamb Skewers in my childhood living in China, so I'm extremely picky when it comes to ? ! This is the closest in taste I've ever had in Canada so ?❤️‍?I've been to this specific location a few times already and I've tried all their lamb skewer! Definately a must-order if you come. In addition, this place basically offers Northern Chinese Street Food in a restaurant setting (all their side cold dishes). Also I came when the restaurant was packed, but the food came very promptly and the service was excellent ? 100% reccommend

Neat Asian style restaurant in Burnaby, B.C., Canada ?? ?The fish soup was amazing.Seems the most popular fare is the skewers. They were coming of the grill in the hundreds. Great selection, beef, pork, lamb, chicken, seafood. The place was packed. Great service.

Man. We heard so many good comments around this place, but we still left with disappointment. The prices were high, not to mention there were no flavor in every food we ordered. The chili powder they use..... just one small movement then it's gone...... no flavor, only part that taste good was the tiger shrimp shell...Portions were super small, and in the end, we were forced to give tips........ I mean..... really? It was suck experience. Guess we expected to high. Not coming back, prefer Paramount BBQ, down a few streets.....

I come here all the time and absolutely love this place because it’s so accessible and open til late night. I usually order the mala fish and skewers but this time someone ordered the prawns for me and dang it’s so good. You can eat the whole thing without peeling off the skin.

Tried a few skewers and bbq items with some Heineken. The food was spicy with the right amount of kick. Recommend checking this place out.
