Happy Lamb Hot Pot is the BEST hot pot place I have ever been to!My boyfriend and I came here for our anniversary on the 26th and the food was just incredible. Firstly, the staff was SO friendly and they even helped my boyfriend organize a surprise for me (putting his anniversary gift for me on the robot that brings out the food!). They refilled the broth of the hot pot often and were all so lovely.The food was also so delicious and all of the meat and vegetables were high quality, flavourful, and arrived at our table extremely quickly. It was also quite filling and we definitely ate until we were stuffed :)I would certainly come back again! Genuinely one of the best experiences I've ever had!
The robot server is a good idea. The server routinely filled the soup broth until it got busy. Had to go up to the bar area to tell them the soup base was about to run dry and burn the pot. The watercress was old and not young and tender as I had thought. My sons enjoyed the experience but the others went hungry. Meat was minimal and soup base was too salty. After this, I have decided I prefer Japanese Shabusen style hotpot. Server never returned after filling the soup base. No water, no teapot refills (was thirsty after the salty soup base). Party of 5. 2/5 went hungry cause deemed it inedible. I filled up on vegetables. For $31/person, I could dine elsewhere with a happier palate.
Favourite hotpot location in Vancouver. The AYCE option is very worth the price and stay is very kind
Staff was so friendly and polite. Constantly refilled the soup and our drinks. Did not have to wait long to be seated or to receive the food. The food came on a neat robot. Broth was nothing special.Paid around 48$ with the tip and it was worth it for AYCE. Definitely felt full afterwards.
We ate to our fills! Food was so good. I liked how they use the robots to bring the good to your table. swishing around the tables blazing some tunes! Awesome! The ladies were very friendly too! Great atmosphere!
Bright, clean, and friendly establishment. Fresh selection of proteins and vegetables. Pleasantly surprised to see a robot food runner bring out the food to our table.Fun and friendly atmosphere. Staff were wonderful!!
So delicious. SO DELICIOUS. I had never had this kind of hot pot before (I know!!) and stopped in randomly while I was in the neighbourhood - ordered the spicy soup with a bunch of root veggies, tofu and a bit of meat. The flavours are just amazing. The soup is SO GOOD. It is seriously unmissable.
Excellent ayce hotpot.Friendly staff and good environment.They food is fresh and seafood and meats are delicious. A separate charge for the soup base.There's a mini sauce bar for condiments.Been here once for the Groupon deal and another time after to try the ayce.Anyone debating whether or not to try the Groupon, i would recommend going for the ayce if you're hungry. The Groupon deal is very limited and perhaps good enough for a lunch portion.
This is everything you've dreamed of for an AYCE hot pot. Comfortable and spacious seatings inside. It is very easy to order: start off by choosing a soup base and then check off (or write the number of orders desired) next to the items. Note that some meats, like fatty beef, has a maximum order of 2 times.There's a good variety of items on the menu. Different veggies, tofu, shell fish, meats, fish balls, noodles etc. One of the best things about hot pot is that everyone can pick and eat their own favourite foods. If unsure what an item is, I suggest ordering just 1 order to try it first, so that no food is wasted. However, I do notice in the 2nd order and on wards, less amount of food arrives. It is not a huge issue as they are probably just being conscious of food going to waste. If you can still eat, then can just order again :) There is a booth near the entrance of the restaurant for sauces. I did not notice this, but it is obvious I did not really need extra sauces and toppings as the soup broth was enough for me.Service was pretty good. I'd definitely visit again as I love fatty beef, fatty pork, noodles, and their veggie selection.
This place has quite delicious lamb and beef.But the first time I went there (Dec 24) at 9pm, one of the male staff told me at 10:15pm that we should finish up soon and he wants to go catch his bus and go home early. My friend and I were shocked by his words, if your restaurant says that it closes at 11pm, then it should close at 11pm. We were there to eat, not listening to his sigh and complaints.The second time I went there (Dec 31 2021), we ordered a spicy and original combo soup base. Look what I found! A bug in the original soup base! This is unacceptable no matter how delicious your food and soup base are.I am concerned with what they put in the soup base. This is purely disgusting.Ps. Photo is out of focus but if you zoom in, you can clearly see the legs...
