Disappointed. I came here at 10.30 and asked the staff what time they close. The staff said they close at 1 am, but it depends on. I sat and ordered Sake around 10.40, and the staff came and said it was the last call. We just opened the sake, and they told us that they would close at 11.30. They even told us twice. We were thinking to order a lot of food for a beer after the sake. But we felt bad and just changed our minds to order the only appetizer. The last food came around 11.They could inform us that they would close early before we ordered sake. Spent almost 120 for 40 mins, but not satisfied at all.Not gonna come back.
The food was delicious and they offered a variety of drinks. The staff was also very nice and welcoming.
Sushi rolls were terrible, I ordered a spicy tuna roll and the spicy sauce was on top of the sushi instead of marinating the tuna. Then the sauce of the meat yakisoba, it was from a can, the flavor was like eating a sweet BBQ sauce.
We've been there for the january menu and it was really good. We ordered only one for 2 and we got an aburi just to complement. Perfect. Crew is very nice. We'll be back to try other things
I came for the dine out menu. The appetizers were excellent but that’s all. The main dish weren’t so good, dessert is pretty normal, not bad but not something I would get.So the dine out set come with rice and miso soup, we got 2 set, A and B but only one miso soup and rice was served. We were full so didn’t ask for those. I also think it’s weird that the set comes with rice, like how are you eating tempura with plain rice? The servers were nice but service was slow. They did NOT check for vaccine card when customers entered the restaurant. They didn’t check ours and other customers.I wish the dinner dine out set was smaller, and the main dish is more interesting. I should’ve come for lunch instead.
We had the dineout vancouver set lunch ($24), everything taste average, a bit disappointed in the portion. Attentive service, but they charged $2.50 for tea, I hope the waitress would inform us about that when we asked for tea.
Nice Japanese experience. From the service to the kitchen ??arigato!!
Love this place! Just went and had a fantastic experience with food, atmosphere, staff and price is reasonable(hope they won’t price up for a while) I’m as Korean and love raw food and izakaya style. Tried many places in the world including Japan and knows about it well. This place is damn good. Hope they don’t change way it is. Will go back soon. ?Cheer up guys!
