Generous fish + chips portion and friendly service in a great location. Just make sure to arrive by 6pm, before they close the line!

Hands down, best fish and chips I've had in Canada (so far). We ordered the halibut. The batter was very flavourful, and the fish was still moist on the inside. The fries were also very good, and tasted like it came from a big french fry chain. The fish overall did not feel too heavy, and did not feel too salty. Definitely worth the 30 minute wait.

Lined up 15 minutes prior to opening time on a Saturday. Weather was gorgeous so waiting around was not terrible. However, the 1.5 hour wait to actually get our meal was a bit much. Once the meal was ready, it was, indeed extremely tasty! The fish was beyond fresh. We (hubby and wife duo) split a 2 piece cod fish and chip order. Fish pieces were of good size and very tasty (worthy of 5 stars). Hubby was not as fond of the chips as I was, but we did both give them a thumbs up for sure. If at Granville Island and in the mood for no frills old school fish and chips, this is a very good bet!

Delicious, seafood dishes. We got the salmon sandwich and the cod fish and chips. It was a 15 minute line to order and then a 30 minute wait for the food. But when the food came it was very fresh and hot. The salmon was a great sandwich with just a little bit of char to let you know that it was just cooked. The fish and chips where regular fish and chips but the fish (cod) was extremely flaky which made it so soft to eat. I would definitely get the fish and chips as the value of this dish is better than the salmon sandwich.

AMAZING Fish 'n Chips in an awesome setting.Came from Edmonton to check out Vancouver and wanted to checkout some great food places that wont break the bank.Go Fish is one of them and my oh my does it impress! It is quite a popular spot, so the wait time can take anywhere from 10-20 minutes during the lunch hour. But its worth it.Food came out fresh & crispy, the price was VERY reasonable and you have great views of the harbor & Vancouver.HIGHLY recommend it for anyone visiting or is from the local area.

I heard a lot about this place. I had a visit recently.Ambiance is good with overseeing of boats.Place has open seating only option.Have ordered Halibut Fish and Chips / COD Fish and ChipsHalibut is expensive amongst all. It’s worth to buy it. Quality of Fish is very good and so taste and chips were good too.Must try place

Popular little joint by the water. They close early at 7 and stop taking orders even earlier than that, like 6:15. They're a little slow to make your order as well (we ordered around 5:45 and had to wait about 30 minutes). We got the halibut and chips, cod tacone, and an oyster po boy. The tacone wasn't anything special but other two dishes were pretty good and reasonably priced. Wish the wait wasn't so long unfortunately.

You know I have never written a review in my life but the fish we just received was so tiny I had to! I specifically asked the guy when I ordered how big the pieces are and he showed me with his hands and said they were a good size. If they were small I was going to order two pieces because I was sharing with my 6 year old. When I received the order I said are you kidding me, this is tiny, and said I’ll have that piece, he was dishing up for another customer, while telling me they weigh each piece he was also hiding that piece he was preparing for another client, obviously knowing it was bigger, you couldn’t hide it. Yes their fish and chips are good, the best in Vancouver and I come from the UK where fish and chips are hard to beat and from a family whom owned fish and chips shops so I know good ones. But come on! the size of the portions are a joke, sorry but had to share.

The food was so fresh. Watch fish get delivered! Service was a bit on the slow side but was ready faster then they said it would be. Would have been a 5 if service had been 15 minutes rather than 30 minutes.

We arrived at Go Fish about 30 minutes before closing intending to buy a couple of meals of fish and chips. I went to the service counter and asked about ordering as they were open until 7 pm. The fellow behind the counter asked where I had heard that closing time. I said on their voice mail message, and on the sign outside their place. The response was something like ... "Hey cowboy if you want to get food you have to order by 6 pm at the latest". The gist of the story was that they were sold out. That message could have been relayed politely and with respect. And if the restaurant is routinely sold out of food one hour before closing, then either increase the inventory or have an earlier closing time.
